Sarah's POV

After waking up, I found the couch empty, a sure sign that he was already awake. The soft sounds of morning drifted through the air, carrying hints of a new day filled with possibilities.

Once I finished my shower, I made my way downstairs, wrapped in the comforting smell of shampoo. The first thing I noticed was Pooja and Luksh bickering—something that seemed to be a regular occurrence.

"What are you guys doing up so early? Let me have some peace!" A familiar voice rang out.

"Morning, my kitty!" Aryan greeted, patting my head affectionately as he handed me a steaming cup of coffee. He looked effortlessly handsome in his loose-fitting shorts and T-shirt, and for a moment, I wondered if he treated all his friends with such care.

"Thanks," I replied, a smile spreading across my face. It was becoming clear to me just how much I had come to rely on his kindness—something that both thrilled and terrified me. I hoped my appreciation for it wouldn't lead me down a path I wouldn't be able to return from.

"Get ready, my kitty. We're about to start the game," he said, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips.

"Aren't we supposed to explore places today?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.

"We still haven't toured the resort, so Deep suggested we take a tour while playing our game here," he explained, clearly excited about the plan.

"That sounds great," I said, taking a sip of my coffee as I felt a small wave of fatigue wash over me. "I could use a bit of rest first to recharge before the adventure."

"I sometimes wonder how you manage a successful business with such a lazy streak," he teased, raising an eyebrow. "I bet Tirtha does all the work while you lounge around."

"Oh really? The truth is completely the opposite. You can ask Tirtha if you don't believe me," I retorted, feigning indignation.

"Where is everyone?" I asked, sliding onto the couch next to Pooja, who was still arguing with Luksh.

"They're probably still asleep." Pooja shrugged.

"So, are you excited for this game?" Siddharth asked with a glint of amusement in his eyes.

"Of course I am!" I beamed, trying to suppress my enthusiasm as I recalled last night's conversations.

"You sound happy," Abhishek's voice suddenly broke in, causing an involuntary tension to ripple through me.

"She must be excited because she's playing with my handsome, hot brother, right bhabhi?" Pooja nudged my shoulder playfully, a teasing smile on her lips.

"God, please stop!" I groaned, pinching her lightly.

"Pooja, do you even know who you'll be paired with?" I asked, curiosity bubbling up again.

"Not really... Deep said he'll pair those who aren't real couples," she replied, her casual attitude further igniting my interest.

Soon, everyone trickled down to the living area, and Deep entered with an air of excitement.

"Hope you're all ready for today! First on the agenda: a game, followed by a tour of the resort," he announced.

"I'm thrilled!" Tirtha whispered excitedly in my ear.

"As for the pairings..." Deep read from his notes, "Pooja with Abhay, Abhishek with Kamini, Luksh with Himanshu, and the rest of you remain as you are." As he finished, groans and playful complaints erupted from the crowd at his choices.
