The day was windy and cloudy, the weather reports were sure of how thunderous the day could get, and so were the other people

Arthit stared at the sky outside through the glass door in his cabin, a cup of coffee in his hands as he stood there in deep thoughts until his eyes fell on a familiar figure outside

There he was, kongpob, carrying more than five books down the streert, all by himself which surely was getting hard for him

Arthit unconsciously chuckled at his antics, the other never failed to amaze him since the very first day he laid his eyes on him, arthit put the cup on his table before he decided to make his way down the building, to kongpob

His own thoughts and decision surprised him but before he could take a second thought he was already on his way to the lift

Kongpob huffed out angrily for the umpteenth time, the books were indeed heavy, maybe buying seven books altogether wasn't that good of an idea and not bringing the driver and the car was another bad decision

"All this over thinking and I still make the worst decisions" kongpob mumbled to himself

"Which one are you regretting right now?" A familiar voice yelled across the street

Kongpob panicked as he looked around and sighed in relief when spotted arthit who smiled at him before hurrying towards him

"What are you doing here in such a bad weather?" Arthit asked taking four books from the other who finally stood straight feeling the weight get off him

"Buying books in secret" konhpob replied shrugging his shoulders

"In secret?" Arthit asked confused

"My father, would kill me if he saw me with more books, he always scolds me for filling his house with nothing but books" kongpob replied pouting

"Oh come on, how many could you have?" Arthit asked curiously

"Two rooms, they are filled with books,in drawers, in shelves, on tables, on floors, everywhere" kongpob replied smiling sheepishly

"That's way too much, I knew someone who loved books as much as you do" arthit mumbled the last part

"Books are great, they let me escape the reality or make one of my own" kongpob reasoned out

"Books are great, they let me escape the reality or make one of my own"

Arthits lips parted to say something, but his mouth went dry, the memories flooded in, of the first time they met, it hurt him, it hurt him more than it should, more than it ever did

"Is it so hard to stay in the reality? Stop reading way too much, it isn't something very useful" arthit replied, his voice turning cold

He pulled out his phone and booked a taxi which arrived just in time, arthit pushed the books in the backseat of the car while kongpob sat in too, feeling extremely hurt at his sudden change in behavior

Arthit shut the door rather loudly and rudely before instructing the driver of the address and making his way back to his company, his mind filled with thoughts and heart filled with anger

Kongpob wiped off his tears as he stepped out the car, his servants immediately rushing to him, grabbing a hold of the books in his hands they followed him inside

"What was there to be so rude about? What does he think he is? He can be as sweet as he wants and the next moment shoo me away like I'm a crow? Why does everything has to be according to him?" Kongpob ranted to himself

He put the books in the leftover place on shelf before shutting the door close and walking towards his own room, he was tired of how the day went

The clouds were storming outside and it was raining oh so heavily, the sight made arthit guilty, he wondered if kongpob had reached home safely or not

He pulled out his phone to message the other when it hit him, he didn't even have his fiance's number, how odd of him

He sighed, caressing his temple, he didn't want to call his father and explain him the whole situation and get scolded just to get his number, nor did he want to trouble Mr kerkarai and so he decided to take the trouble

"Mina, I will be leaving early today" arthit informed his secretary before he left

"Sir, Mr rojanapat is here to meet you" the servant informed

"Why would uncle be home at this hour?" Kongpob asked as he stood up

"No sir, it's their heir, Arthit rojanapat" He replied

"That's even stranger" kongpob mumbled before asking the servant to serve him water

He was still hurt by what had happened earlier and surely didn't want to face the other at this hour but he couldn't just turn him away and so he made his way to the living room, to meet the other

"Hey, good to see that you reached safely" arthit said in a soft voice

Kongpob only hummed in response, not directly looking at arthit

"Look, I'm sorry about snapping at you, it's just..I'm just sorry" arthit said

"I'm not mad at you, we aren't close enough to be mad at each other" kongpob replied, looking away

"Let's be close enough then, is that your phone?" Arthit asked, grabbing a phone from the couch

"What are you doing?" Kongpob asked confused at the other

Arthit pulled out his own phone, calling himself through Kongpob's phone which surprisingly had no lock

"This is my number, I have got yours, we are a bit closer now" arthit replied, winking at the other

Kongpob was taken aback, his mouth fell open, as he watched arthit make his way back to the main door, as if he didn't just make the other fall deeper for him
