JULES POV
"WOOO!!!!"I yelled as Elijah made the final point.

I shook my pom poms high making sure everyone saw. Shortly after everything calmed down I grouped up with Elijah and gave him a big hug.

"Congratulations!"I said

"Congrats to you cheerleaders to."He said "If it wasn't for that performance the other time may have left early."He said as I laughed

"So what time do you want me to meet back up here?"I said

"Maybe at like 9:45."He said

"Alright,"I said as I ran back over to Destiny.

"Ok I see you making friends"Destiny said "or a boyfriend."She added

"Girl go home and get dressed,"I said as I grabbed my pom poms.

"Mhm you better not be doing anything grown tonight."Destiny said

"Ahhhh I'm scared!!!"I said to Destiny as I pulled into the school.

"Ooohh there he is!"Destiny said

I parked and prepared myself to get out. I got what I needed and walked up to Elijah.

"You look great."Elijah said as he hugged me.

"You too."I said as I kissed his cheek.

Destiny has brought the skating rink boy over to me and Elijah.

"This is Xavier, but y'all can call him Zay."Destiny said smiling

Zay tilted his head upwards and shook me and Elijah's hand.

"Nice to meet you I'm Julian but you can call
me Jules."I said

"And I'm Eijah."Elijah said

"Nice to meet you two,"Zay said as he flashed a quick smile.

"Alright let's take pictures!!"Destiny said

Then just like that we were separated from Destiny and Zay after pictures.

"Are you nervous?"Elijah said

I paused for a second thinking to say no or yes.

"Yes."I said

"You can hold onto my arm."He said

I locked my arm with his and strutted into the dance after paying the fee. I looked around and took a deep breath. Then my song started playing.

"THIS MY SHI-"

ELIJAH POV

I admired his body as Jules danced around. I've never seen him have this much fun besides when he's cheering. His smile is probably one of the best things on him. He's so perfect.

Wait what did he just ask me? All I know is that I shook my head yes. Suddenly Jules started twerking on me.

JULES POV

Things have died down and got a bit calmer and me and Elijah were slow dancing. We were completely in our own world.

"So you enjoying yourself?"I asked

"This is my first homecoming so yeah."He said

I was slightly taken aback when he said that but I shook my head.

"I'm glad I haven't bumped into them yet."I said

"Yeah.."He said "I would've never imagined Rome to do that.."He said

"I think it was my fault for falling for Dylan, and now that I think about it...I think Dylan had a thing for cheerleaders."I said

Elijah looked away the second I said that. I turned his head so that he was facing me.

"I've heard about him...and I lowkey feel like I could've warned you but I couldn't."He said "and not gonna lie I've been feeling you for a minute now."He said "I don't know how you feel but I would like to do just one thing."He said

"What."I said

He leaned in and kissed me. The kiss lasted for a good ten seconds. Once we pulled away it looked like he felt sorry, but I leaned in for another kiss.

"Damn I love you."Elijah said as I smiled, but my song started playing.

"You mind if I do twerk on you?"I said

Elijah shrugged and I took that as a yes.
