Harry double checks the arrangement on the table and winces when he hears his younger cousin's laugh fill the air.

Rowan is having a conversation and it's slightly annoying Harry even as he plays the host for the evening.

Rana nudges him with a pleading look and he relaxes his shoulders just a little. She brings her thumb to softly caress his cheek and he immediately turns peach as he avoids her loving stare.

The last time they had a double date was with Zayn and Pet, but this is new waters for him. It's someone completely outside from his little world and he doesn't know what to think.

Yes, the first impressions were sincerely fair and he didn't feel as annoyed as he had expected to. Also, Rowan seems happy and that's truly what matters the most to him.

"You're staring," Rana's voice brings him back to reality.

It's true that he's been staring and he cannot help it. Harry clears his throat and rearranges the plates he just arranged.

Rana smiles and gently takes his hand, knowing there's a lot on his mind.

"I...need to fix it," he mumbles.

"You're fixing an already set table," she points out.

"Okaaaaay, Captain of the obvious," Harry frowns a little.

"Captain Obvious," she chuckles.

"No, that's you," he retorts.

Rana stops herself and sighs.

"No, it's captain obvious not captain of the obvious, you're not in your seventies," she explains.

Harry pauses and immediately scoffs at his girlfriend because he knows she's right. He sets down another plate and rubs his palms together.

The food is warm and freshly made by him, and the dessert was brought by their guests. He doesn't know what to think about that just yet but Rana is helping him become more accommodating.

"Do I look fine?" he asks.

"You look pink and handsome," she teases.

"Still pink?" he groans.

"It's okay to be nervous," she replies.

"Nervous? I don't even know him," Harry frowns a little bit.

Rana stands closer to him and knows he's just not nervous about this evening.

Lately his life has welcomed more people than he planned and it can be quite overwhelming. From her parents to Omar and now this person.

The lad is silently taking it in till he gets super anxious and decides to hide from the world, and she doesn't want that.

"You've been meeting a lot of people lately," she points out.

"Yes, a lot. Even Omar has a...a child," Harry says in disbelief.

"I'm so happy your life is getting richer," she smiles at him.

Harry pauses on hearing her version of things because it makes more sense. Richer is a better word than fuller.

More people means learning more things and it's just more activities for him. He's someone who has always wanted to be included in things and now he has more people to include him.

Baba now invites him to random artsy stuff and shares a lot of videos with him. Pet teaches him ways to expand the shop online.

Paloma teaches him a whole new language and cuisine. Omar seems like a genuine person and he knows that will be a great relationship for his mother.
