Land of the Kais - Ten minutes later

Goku awoke to find himself still lying in that crater, defeated after only a single strike. He was lost in his train of thought from that unique transformation the deity spoke of before. "Super... Saiyan God..."

Goku clutched his chest in pain as King Kai hovered over the Saiyan, worried about his state. "Are you okay...Goku?"

The Saiyan gave a weak nod before muttering, "Huff...I was no match for him..."

King Kai bitterly reminded Goku of the consequences of fighting a destroyer god. "That's why I told you to stop! You're too reckless...!"

Goku reached into a pouch of Senzu beans inside his gi and pulled out one, chomping on it. Once his body healed from injuries and was restored to energy, he slowly sat up from the same crater he lay in.

Goku then recalled what Beerus mentioned. "Beerus said they were going to Earth." He stood up and looked over at King Kai.

"This is bad...Bulma's birthday party is right now..." He uttered.

"No need to worry, Goku. I informed Vegeta just a few moments after Lord Beerus and Whis left. Everything should be just fine...I hope." 

[Flashback]

A Few Days Earlier - Capsule Corp Headquarters

After practicing in the gravity chamber at five hundred times Earth's normal gravity, Shallot and Vegeta started walking to the Gardens.

Vegeta was dressed for training in a sleeveless blue tank top tucked into matching trousers, white gloves, and boots. At the same time, the ancient Saiyan wore a blue variant of the Saiyan armor. Three pieces of padding on his waist protected his crotch and hips, a chest piece with shoulder straps extended from it, a pair of vambraces that covered his elbow to his wrist, greaves, and blue boots with silver toes.

"You've done well to master that Super Saiyan 3, Shallot," Vegeta asked, blindsiding the ancient Saiyan with the compliment.

Shallot gave the nod. "Yeah, sure wasn't easy, but I did it... What's up with you?" Shallot replied

Vegeta huffed angrily, having been called out on his odd behavior, "I just feel uneasy... like something is going to go down." Vegeta's tone of voice was low and calm instead of his usual loud and angry tone.

The pair left the gardens and headed up into the Briefs Family residence, which was still within Capsule Corp but was now a considerably larger home since Bulma had taken over after her father's retirement.

The sliding doors opened up just as Trunks was leaving, and bumping his head into the prince's stomach, Trunks fell backward to the floor just as Vegeta looked over him.

"You should watch where you're going, you know," Vegeta commented

"Oh, sorry, dad, I didn't see you there!" Trunks, he sheepishly replied as he noticed Shallot had waved at the quintessential Saiyan. "What's up, Shallot! How was training?"
