Everything I fight for in life is for me and my siblings.
So don't get involved;
The less you know the safer you'll be
In other words if I was y'all I would never wish to be me.
Remember yall was hungry and I passed that bone?
That's a story never told,
We struggle like never before,
We struggled and struggled some more.
It was cold at night and we didn't have a bed, so we slept on the floor.
Remember we were separated not for education, but to better our situation.
The loss of motivation I felt at the age of twelve, I hated life, pop went back to jail, and momma was made the devil's wife.
Stick to the back of the jugular changed my life;
But I knew better, so we confined inside.
The years got long and the days felt everlasting,
From that little boy who didn't like the rain, to this young man who carry an umbrella and walk through thunder;
Be damned of lighting,
Me, Teddy, Kyn, and Patience grew up fighting,
And Queen was the rod to channel the storm and cause the lighting.
