"I'm not getting good vibes from him," you whisper to Spencer. "He may know what he's doing, but he doesn't work well with others."

"You think?" Derek chimes in, having heard you.

Since Hotch and Rossi are talking, you decide to work on the case. The profile is over with, so you head to the main conference room where you take a seat. This case is rubbing you in the wrong way, and you don't know why. You grab your pen to take notes, but you don't write anything. Instead, you put the end of the pen into your mouth and chew on it anxiously.

Spencer notices this and reaches into his pocket to produce a piece of gum. He reaches over and gently removes the pen from your mouth, handing over the piece of gum. You smile sheepishly and take the gum gratefully before popping it into your mouth. Penelope calls just as Hotch and Rossi come back into the room. You can feel the resentment coming from Hotch and the carelessness coming from Rossi.

"Garcia, talk to us," Derek says.

"So, Michelle recently drew up the plans for a remodel of three floors of a company called Techco Communications. It's a high-tech communications company in downtown Dallas."

"What about Enid?" you ask.

"She worked there until two months ago."

Yarborough comes into the room with a ghost-white face and is very anxious.

"He's on line two. He demanded to speak to the FBI."

All eyes go to Rossi, but he doesn't look anyone in the eyes. Instead, he pushes the call button on the desk phone to bring the call into the conference room. No one hung up on Penelope, so she can listen in on this as well.

"This is FBI supervisory special agent David Rossi."

"You called me impotent."

"Did I?"

"I'm not impotent," the unsub whispers.

"Why are you whispering? Is someone around you? Are you at work?"

"You lied. You have to tell the news the truth."

"I'll get you on the news, then you can correct me yourself."

He's provoking the unsub, and you're not so sure you like where this is going. Rossi is too cocky, and he's going to get someone killed.

"No, you correct it."

"By the way, I was looking at the police security tapes for the day Michelle went missing. You watched her long enough to know she didn't have visitors. She was a loner, yet you knew that detective Yarbrough was coming over. You must have been right here in this station when he told her. Now, your face is gonna be on one of those tapes, and when I find it, I'm gonna paper this city with it just like you did with those women. Everyone will see it. They won't be able to ignore you now, but you won't inspire fear. You'll inspire hatred and ridicule because the only power someone like you has is a mask, and once that mask is removed, you'll be as insignificant as you've always been--a loser!"

Everyone is silent at Rossi's words, and your fear comes true when the unsub speaks. He provoked him into killing Enid.

"You just signed Enid's death warrant."

The unsub hangs up, and you let out the breath you were holding. The air is thick with tension, but with the information Penelope got, you know where he works. If he was quiet over the phone, then he must still be there.

"We should go to Techno Communications. He is still there. He was at work when he made the call," you state.

"How do you know?" Rossi challenges you.
