Content/ trigger warning: Smoking weed

With the chaotic lives that the two of you lived, you and Fezco found safe haven in each other. It was just too easy to set aside the other bullshit when Fez had his arms wrapped around you. Burying his head in the side of your neck as you sat on his lap.

"You want it?" You asked, pulling the blunt from your lips.

"Nah, I'm good, I'll just watch you." He whispered against your skin.

Happily, you scoff and smile.

"Come on, you know I hate smoking alone. Got me feeling like a-"

You didn't finish your sentence because you both knew what you were going to say and knew it was wrong to say. Blowing the smoke to the side, you fell silent before taking another hit, a stronger one, a deeper breath. Holding the smoke in your lugs for a moment to feel the burn before releasing it from your lips.

"Aight, but we only smoking this one." Fezco presses a kiss to your cheek before taking the blunt from your lips. "Don't want chu too gone today."

"Why?"

"I was thinking we could do something today."

He keeps it vague wanting to do whatever you wanted, rather than pitch you an idea. Fezco knew with everything going on, you really didn't want to go out or be at home. You wanted something simple and comforting.

"You and me only, or are the kids allowed to join?"

He chuckles at your reference to Ash and Faye, "the kids".

"Nah, they can come." He pulls the blunt from his lips and puts it between yours. "But if they start fighting, I'm puttin' 'em in time out."

You both laugh, rocking side to side in your spot as Fezco presses another kiss to your skin. And another one and another one trailing his lips back to your neck.

"So, what chu wanna do?"

"Hmm." You took a second to think. "We could... have another movie night like our last one, but we gon actually cook this time."

You lit up at the thought, but Fezco's face certainly wasn't as excited as yours. The two of you had made food together before, you'd gain your skill from YouTube video's and your shitty father not making anything for you. But Fez never really knew how to cook beyond breakfast.

"You saying that to be fr or you just hungry?"

He gives you a side eye, and your lips can't help but curl into a suspicious grin at his accusation.

"Shit, I'm fine either way, as long as you happy."

You soften the grin into a smile and give Fezco a quick peck before whispering to him.

"And as long as we end it the same way."

After forty-five minutes of brainstorming what to make and writing up a rather long list, the four of you ransacked the gas station before quickly returning home and starting the cooking. Making the dough would be the easiest and hardest part. Easy because all you had to do was mix olive oil with flour yeast and water. But hardest because everything else was premade.

"Do you think we did it right ?" You asked Faye concerned.

"I don't know." She cocked her head to the side. "It kinda looks like shredded chicken."

Coming into the kitchen, Fezco laughs as he comes behind you, allowing Faye to slip away from her position as your assistant chef.

"Come on, girl, you gotta get in there with your hands." He says rolling up your sleeves before doing the same to his.

A wave of heat ran over your body and stirred your stomach at the feel of him behind you, hovering over you. Carefully, he removes the dough from the bowl before placing it on the clean and floured counter.

"How you know that?" You asked quietly.

"You don't remember that class I took freshman year." He sets the bowl in the sink to be cleaned later.

"You musta failed it because I ain't never seen you make nothing."

"Girl, I passed all my classes, don't play."

You opened your mouth to respond, but before you could, you'd gotten distracted. Fezco kneaded the dough on his own for a second before putting his hands over yours and doing it with you. Combining your strengths, to properly knead the dough. You watched his hands as they consumed yours, your brown skin getting lost in the pale of fezco's and of the mixture on the counter. The muscles in his hands swelled as he pressed and rolled the dough into itself. His veins became more pronounced, pushed to the surface as his hands worked. You took a breath and tried to focus on helping him, but truthfully, Fezco didn't really need your help. He was strong enough for the both of you. After ten minutes of kneading, he cleaned the bowl before putting the dough back in and covering it with plastic, it needed an entire hour to rise.

"What we finna do for a whole hour?" Fezco asks as the both of you walk into the living room.

Taking a seat on the couch, you look at him and although nothing is said, your face speaks for itself.

"You a freak." He tells you, taking the spot next to you, throwing his arm over your shoulder.

"I didn't even say anything." You defended yourself with a big smirk.

"Don't worry." With his free hand, Fezco's index finger and thumb hold your chin gentle. "Imma give you what you feening for."

He held your face close to his, only inches apart, in fact. You couldn't help the small smile that crept on your face. Your eyes flickered between his and his lips as he came closer. The enchanting light blue of his irises was practically hypnotizing. The pink of his lips met the brown of yours in a sweet, sensual moment that left you giggling.

"What's funny?" Fezco questioned you as you hid your face in his neck.

"Nothing." You lie partially. "It's just... I missed you."

He's silent for a moment before giving your head a kiss.

"I know, baby, I'm sorry."

The rest of the day was spent blissfully happy. The dough turned out to be enough for four pizzas, so everyone got to make their own. After putting them in the oven, you all played video games, Ashtray being the absolute best and you coming in second. Leaving the third and fourth spot for Fezco and Faye. It was a little weird, but more than that it was fun, the four of you having such a good time together.
