let me rest my head on your chest,
let me hear your heartbeat once more.
let me gaze into your eyes,
and fall into its abyss,
the colour of pools of honey:
the colour of sunlight glinting through cold autumn mornings.
I still remember the warm coffee cups, laughing on park benches;
walking by the lake, the unspoken conversations as we gazed into eachother's eyes.
And now I ask: Do you ever stop to remember?
