Natsuhiko x fem (optimist) reader-Phase 1:win her love Phase 2:fail and cry

Natsuhiko walked back to you,slumped and sad as he fell on the couch,
"She did it again,didn't she?"
You said sympathetically,you knew your best friend had feelings for Sakura but she neglected him every single time he made it very obvious.You pet his head as he cried fake tears,you had sworn to be the best wingman a bestie could be but it wasn't working out.

"Nanamine still refuses my loooovve."
Natsuhiko cried sadly,it was quite sad to be honest.Natsuhiko was genuinely like in love with her but Sakura was just too harsh about it.You hummed and thought about it and snapped your fingers,

"Thought abo-"
"Yes"
"How about-"
"Yep!"
"Hmmmm...Oh!Well may-"
"No (name chan)nothing will work!"

You were generally out of ideas then,you didn't know how to help you friend out.He was almost depressed.Later that week,you and Natsuhiko saw Sakura hand in hand with another boy walking out of an ice cream shop.She looked very happy,her dead fish eyed gaze wasn't cold or mean,but happy and smiling.You looked up at Natsuhiko,he looked upset.

Sakura caught his eye and then yours,she looked at you apologetically as Natsuhiko went to walk off,but you grabbed his arm.You walked to the dude Sakura was with and punched him in the face.He fell back with an 'oof' as Sakura yelled at you,

"(Name san)!Why would you do that!?"
You rounded on Sakura,you wouldn't ever hurt her,you would just yell at her,
"Because I know someone who actually does care about you but you neglect him and continually crush him!If you asked him to stop being a weirdo then he would actually stop because he respects you!Did this piece of crap not make you pay for your food because he 'accidentally' forgot his wallet?"

Sakura stopped to think about it but you were already walking away with Natsuhiko who had met up with his younger friend Tsukasa(he's alive in this one!)and were walking off.She really did need to be nicer to Natsuhiko.
