The Helltaker made his desire to journey into Hell for a harem of sharply dressed demon girls clear, but what wasn't made clear was how this would affect his life. What of his family? Does he even have a family?
Enter Y/N. A young man who dresses mu...
This is how I'm doing Loremaster bits. If you have any better ideas, sue- no I'm joking; tell me, please. For the love of God just tell me.
"Subject 66? Why haven't you completed the test already? You were more focused in the last test!" A massive monitor flickered on, depicting a familiar face sporting white hair, horns, and crimson safety glasses. She was looking at a data pad in confusion.

"Halo?" Y/N muttered quietly, staring in curiosity at the screen. The person paused, having apparently heard him, and stared.
"What did you just say?"
"Oh, you can hear me. Might as well ask since I can, who are you? Because you look extremely familiar. Except with white hair and horns instead of black hair and a halo," Y/N asked, getting a blank stare. Another familiar face, this time the only change being her clothes, appeared on the monitor as well.

"Loremaster? Are you alright? Why hasn't the test been-" Lucifer. She was wearing a maid outfit. Oh, how Y/N wished he had his phone.
"PFFFFTT- AHAHAHAHA! LUCIE?! WHAT ARE YOU WEARING A MAID UNIFORM FOR?! HAHAHAHA! ow, it hurts so much to laugh!" Y/N continued laughing, holding his stomach as he collapsed to the floor. Lucifer spoke up after a moment and what she said floored 'Loremaster'.
"Y/N...." she whispered, her hands shaking. She couldn't believe it. Not that she didn't want to, more that she couldn't.
"That's... that's his voice. And he's holding the side he was stabbed by Judgement's claws... This isn't right! He was trapped in the Abyss by that bitch! There's no way his soul could be in that body! Unless... Strange magic is at play here." Lucifer looked at Loremaster, who had her eyes glued to the screen.
"What was it you said just now?" she asked, ripping her eyes away from the half-demon experiment on screen.

"That isn't Subject 66. It may be 66's body, but the soul is..." Lucifer bit her lip.
"Out with it Lucie!" Loremaster growled. Lucifer gulped and eyed Loremaster warily. Loremaster herself, however, was steadily growing more flustered. She, however, was able to cleverly disguise it as frustration.

"Y/N's soul is the one in that body." Loremaster stared at Lucifer for a moment before she turned back to the screen and slammed her hands down.
"Complete the puzzle! Now. Lucie, we're going to have a little 'talk'." Lucifer knew exactly what that meant and froze for a moment.

"A-As you wish."
The screen went dark and Y/N was left with the three lasers and three metal cubes. So he did what he could only think of doing, punching the shit out of the block and putting his hand into it to drag it beside him so he didn't get hit by the lasers. It was extremely difficult, considering, you know, but he was able to get it done and looked down at his red knuckles.
"I don't think this is my body..." This was further supported when the bleeding on his knuckles stopped and his wounds healed. He grinned. This was going to make him so broken for a bit. No sooner had he healed though, the screen flickered back on.
"Who are you?!" Loremaster demanded.
"Ouch, that's no way to treat a mystery man!" Y/N cried indignantly. He crossed his arms in annoyance and leaned against his giant rock.
"Well, he certainly has the personality..." Loremaster muttered.
"Apologies. Things have been... difficult since you left. It's good to see you again, my king," Lucifer said, confusing the human.
"King? What are you talking about Lucie? You've never called me that before." Y/N looked at her, confused.
"Ah, I had a feeling you weren't quite the same. Your soul is a little too young. I assume the last thing you remember is fighting Judgement, correct?" Y/N was taken aback.
"How did you-"
"HE IS NOT Y/N! THERE'S NO WAY! I WATCHED THAT HORRID FLY DRAG HIM INTO THE ABYSS!" Loremaster interjected, yelling angrily. The anger had a tinge of sadness that was being heavily suppressed.
"Hold on, back up. 'Fly'? 'Abyss'? You gotta talk to me," Y/N said, standing up. She looked so familiar it almost hurt.
"Several decades ago, you'd been dragged into the Abyss by Beelzebub when she tried to lure your brother in with her. Poor angel lost her mind trying to research all the ways you were trapped. Hasn't spent a single moment of her waking time searching for a way to get you back. Or at least, our Y/N. I believe something is happening that is allowing you to look into the future." Lucifer sighed, looking down at the ground. She seemed just as sad as Loremaster, though without the anger to replace it on the forefront.
