So, I lift my head and looked around, there was absolutely nothing around could cause them. Slightly irritated I started walking once again, and yet again did the vibration get stronger. But this time I didn't stop to look around, there hadn't been anything a few seconds ago so why would this time be any different?

Nothing seemed to change, no matter how far I walked. There was still some sort of fields on each side of the path, the biggest change had been small stone walls that looked like they were separating the fields. Not even the vibration had changed, it had been kept getting stronger, but nothing happened. It almost felt like the sun hadn't moved either, which would be strange because I knew that I had walked for some time now. Yet here I was, walking down a seemingly endless path. And the only thing telling me that I was getting anywhere was a vibration in the ground. I couldn't help but to let out a sigh as I took a glance at the sky, it was surprisingly grey. When had the sky turned so grey? And why hadn't I noticed it earlier? As I'm looking at the sky, I noticed small black particles flying around. I could feel my stomach twist and my throat almost suffocating me, and I knew that it wasn't that the sky had turned grey; it was a smoke that had made the sky that way. Although I probably should have turned around and run back to the forest, or even further. I kept moving forward, what if there were people there needing my help? I can't just ignore it and pretend that I didn't see anything. And hopefully I'm just overreacting, it might just as well be a campfire or a bonfire that I'm seeing the smoke from.
