This wasn't what I wanted; I didn't need it either. And still here I was, falling through the air while getting whipped by tree branches. I had heard stories that falling would after a while feel like time had stopped, but for me it felt like I was teleported straight down to the ground. Only different was that I hit the ground with a loud thud and the impact was vibrating in my bones, making every inch of my body scream from pain. I didn't move and just focused on breathing; it was hard enough to do. Every time I inhaled or exhaled it was as someone was stabbing me from the chest down to my stomach. There was no way I would get up and keep walking in this state, although I had no experience in the medical field, even I knew that I had broken a few bones.

Somewhere between the breathing and the throbbing pain, I managed to fall asleep only to wake up to the feeling of swaying, it took a while to realize that it wasn't a part of being half asleep. It was a soothing feeling and it made me drowsy, I got the feeling that it was intentionally done for that very reason. But I didn't mind it, I felt safe, warm, and free from pain. There was nothing more I wanted to do than letting these feelings wrap themselves around me, and just sleep until I woke up in my room again. But at the same time, I really wanted to know what caused this feeling. I forcefully opened on eye. The first thing that I saw was the treetops, moving in the same gently swaying movement. It was first when I glanced at the side that I noticed the silvery scales.
