Pat smiled as Pran finished knotting his tie and smoothed the creases on his collar
(No Pat we can't do this) his alpha bemoaned at him (I don't want to leave him even for a second)
"It's ok Pat" Pran said smiling sweetly up at him "We will be fine. Don't worry so much and just concentrate on work"
"I know baby" he sighed cupping Pran's face with his palms "But me and my alpha just don't want to leave you and go. All alone like this"
"I will be ok" Pran murmured trying to hide his inner hurt from him "Just go already or you will be late"
"I won't go if you don't want me to" he said leaning their foreheads together "I know you want me to stay"
(Yes!!! Let's stay)
"Of course I want you to stay" Pran burst out suddenly his eyes filling with tears "I don't want you to go. But it won't be professional of you to take anymore leave. So just go before I start bawling out loud"
(How can we go if our mate is this sad about it??) his alpha sighed in despair
"That's it" he declared kissing Pran's eyelids "I'm not going"
"No, No" Pran rushed out, shaking his head at him "I'm just being emotional. It will take some time for us to adjust after being inseparable all these days but you know we can't just shut ourselves inside like this forever. We have to get on with our daily activities. You do have to go to work and I also have project reports I have to submit"
(He's right. Of course he is) his alpha sighed in resignation
"You are adorable when you are thinking practically angel" he purred rubbing their noses together "You are right. It will be difficult at first but we will adjust slowly I'm sure. I will get going then"
"Ok" Pran nodded giving him a beautiful smile, surging forward and kissing him sweetly "See you at lunch time"
(Don't forget to say bye to our little buddy) his alpha reminded him

He kneeled down in front of his mate, gently caressing and pressing a kiss on his bulging stomach "Bye my baby. Daddy is going to work now. But I will come and visit you and papa for lunch ok. Be good for papa till then. I love you so much"
He grinned in elation as he felt a kick against his palm in response to his words
(Awww look at our little champ) his alpha cooed happily
He could feel the love rolling off from Pran in waves as he stood up straight. His mate was looking at him with a look of utter adoration
"Just go quickly now" Pran mumbled swatting him on the chest "So that you can come back to me quickly"
