12. Patrick's P.O.V.

"But you're the kind of insane that I really like." I don't know what I was saying to Riley, but I think I just confessed to her that I like her. I was shocked with what I said, but I didn't regret it. I smiled at her and I got a smile back. I thought she would just brush me off but no, we just laughed together. Maybe the feelings are really mutual between us.

I don't know what's happening, but our faces went closer and closer to each other till the tips of our lips have met. It's official, we clearly like each other and I am so glad that that is the case. It's really time for me to move on with the love life.

But before our kiss gets any deeper, Pete's voice from outside the door have interrupted us (Thanks, Pete). Both Riley and I just laughed about it, at least we somehow like confessed to each other with that act. I'm just happy that we are like this. I know that our relationship will really go somewhere right now.

But suddenly, everything that I have been thinking seconds ago was washed away by just hearing a voice.

I know that it is her; Joyce's voice. The girl that I loved for years, what is she doing her and why now? Now that I am finally forgetting her?! I stood up and when Riley opened the door, she was really it. She's still as beautiful as always and as cheerful too.

I don't know how to act, I'm sad because really, why would you be back?! But also excited, maybe just maybe this will be another chance. She hugged me, but I caught a glimpse of Riley. I just confessed to this girl and we almost kiss and I'm already here hugging the girl I used to love and I think my feeling for her again is waking up.

I'm really hopeless when it comes to this thing.

We have been catching up with each other the whole night and I can't stop looking at Joyce. I can't believe that she's already back with us. We have been with her for the whole high school days and we are really all close with each other. I can also see the looks of Pete, Joe and Andy that they are excited to be with her again. I also want to say everything to her now, I haven't had the chance to say things to her in the past since she suddenly went away but somehow now I'm hesitating. But I really am just glad that she's with us now.

"I'm on a vacation break for two months so I can spend some time with you guys! I'm also planning to go to Chicago. So it will be like the old times!" she says excitedly and we all cheered too.

We really missed her and there are a lot of things we want to show her now that our career has been going high. She was also supposed to be one of the original members of the band but sadly she declined our offer and finally just three years ago we found the replacement for her supposed to be place in the band.

"Great! I'll just postponed the tours we have this two months besides we also need a short break from it too." Pete suggested and we all agree with his idea.

"But...." I heard Riley say and we looked at her with curiosity. It seems like she wanted to argue but when she looked at us she just smiled sadly. "Never mind. It's fine with me too."

"Aww, thanks, guys! I really missed you all."

Our talk went on and on and on and it's like we're never running out of topic. We haven't heard of her last few years and this is really a great way to catch up. I know we can't wait for our vacation together back in Chicago.
