"Zhurong." The big guy himself walked closer to her, raising his hand to hug her and pull her close.

Not wanting to seem as disrespectful, Sha Mei bows and says "your majesty," she says, "Forgive me for not greeting you earlier."

To be honest I didn't want to see you.

"It's okay, Zhurong, there's no need to kneel, after all I am your father." He smilled.

Wasn't he the one who allowed his own daughter to be turned into a slave for eternity?

Why is he trying to play father of the year?

As soon as she was about to stand up "Chongli."

Another one.

A woman in white and Gold walked towards the father and daughter with an entourage of servants following her. This time all eyes were on the family of Gods, all that was missing was the God of Ice. Sha Bing.

"Chongli, why didn't you come pay your respects to your dear mother? After all I created you. After not seeing me for over a millenia, you don't come to greet your dear mother? Such an ungrateful brat you are."

Everyone watched as the Princess of Heaven get talked down by her mother.

She sounds like my mother. And looks eerily similar to her as well.

"Lady Sha, there's no need to talk to Zhurong like that." Sha Mei's father says.

"I'm sorry, your majesty did I offend you somehow? But did I lie? This child is a.."

Stepping out from behind the crowd, Wei Lian steps forward and says. "Shizun owes you nothing, judging by the way you act. Your the brat here!"

Everyone watched surprised and in shock, the crowd of Gods, mortals and angels, whispered among themselves. "This girl who is she?" "I think she's master Sha's head disciple , I think her name is, Wei Li Lian?"

"That girl is very beautiful, do you think she has a husband?"

"If she does he's about to become a widower."

Sha Mei's mother raises her hands to slap Wei Lian.

"You...you brat! How dare you!"

Wei Lian waited for the blow but it didn't come. As she opened her eyes, someone flashed in front of her. Looking up, her Shizun was standing in front of her and was holding her mothers hand.

Everyone looked in shock, and began to shake.

"A child beating her mother?"

Ah, who's beating who? I'm the one who almost got my head karate chopped off! I should be getting an apology from everyone in this room.

Also. WHY DID I STOP HER?? THE PROTAGONIST IS CLEARLY INVINCIBLE! WHY DO I KEEP SAVING HER?

Anyway, there's no turning back.

"Mother."

She glared.

"Why are you so angry at this child? Isn't it me that left you?"

"That's right mother, even though that brat may have opened her mouth and had deared to speak to you in such a way. It's our dear Mei Mei*, who left us."

A handsome man in blue and white, slowly walked towards the crowd.

Looking at her Shizun and then back at the man in blue, the two looked almost identical.

The man in blue bowed his head when reaching the three God's and says, "My dear JieJie it's been quite a long time. Do you know how much this little one has missed you?"

If you trully "missed" your sister, you could have easily visited her.

A golden light shined on top the man's head, the familiar google voice saying "Sha Bing, God of the North, Oceans and Winter Prince of Heaven. Sha Mei's younger brother."

Good lord, there's more of them?

Lin read about the Sha Family before but, aside from Sha Mei, they weren't really talked about.

Why are they playing family reunion now?

Sha Mei was in deep thought, she was snapped back in to reality by Sha Bing snapping his fingers. Wei Lian glared at the male Ice God and didn't try to hide her angry even if that man in front of her, was her master's family.

Other than being one of Wei Lian's husband, Sha Bing has no other real role in the novel. So why is this asshole trying to be important now?

Sha Bing gets a good look at Wei Lian and smirks, Wei Lian sees this and shivers, Sha Mei steps aside to block Wei Lian from the cold ice God.

Wei Lian had red dusted on her cheeks and smiled softly to herself.

While the family reunion and family faud was goiing on, the grown began to shake and the winds began to pick up. The night was getting colder and Sha Mei can feel the air around her getting thicker to the point where you can cut it with a knife. The great Emperor of the Heavens, Sha Mei's father, shouts, "everybody fly."

As soon ass he said that, the ground under their feet began to split and break apart. Sha Mei had already spread her wings but, Wei Lian who was still a mortal fell with the tables and chairs.

Wouldn't it be easier to have her die like this, than to rather have her surfer in literal hell? She thought.

Then it would only be an acciedent, and not her fault.

*Mei means, Beautiful, so Sha Mei's name literally means Beautiful.
Sha means Sand.
