I wake up on the couch pretty much thinking that the events from last night were a dream until I hear a audible conversation happening in the basement. Assuming that this conversation is involving Hunter and Gus, I begin walking down the basement steps.
Hunter POV
"What do you think of Luz's friend" Gus asks me. "I don't really know them that well but I'll trust Luz's judgment and assume that they are a good person" I say in response. In the back of my mind all I'm thinking is that what if they are messed up like Belos. I highly doubt this though. I mean I think it would be pretty hard to be as evil as Belos.
I hear a creaking of the stairs. Then I see Y/N walk down the stairs. They are in pajamas and look like they just woke up. "How did you guys sleep" Y/N asks us. " Pretty good what about you" I ask them while being a little bit nervous. " I mean not too bad considering I've slept on the couch down here for a while anyway". " Speaking of that why do you sleep down here anyway" Gus asks. " Well my parents got a job in another state and they left me with Camila" Y/N says. I felt kinda bad cause this seemed like a touchy subject.
" Anyway I have tons of questions for you guys" Y/N questions. "Okay well we're ready to answer them" Gus says in response. Y/N doesn't hesitate to start asking. " First how did you get your powers" He asks. " Uh actually scratch that I have a better question what was the world you lived in like" Y/N asks. " Um well for a start it was so much more different than this place" I say in response.
Y/N POV
I have asked so many questions I think that Hunter and Gus are getting very bored of answering them. " Well as fun as this has been I think we should check where everybody else is" Gus suggested. I pull out my phone to see what time it is and I see it's 7am. Well it's kinda early so I doubt anyone else is awake" I say. " Well then what do we do know" Hunter asks. " I mean we could go into town" I suggest. " Doesn't that seem a little dangerous" Gus asks. " No not really, not many people will be in town and I have some hats to hide your ears so you should be fine" I added.
With no further convincing I grabbed two beanies and some spare clothes and Hunter and Gus looked like normal ordinary humans. " You guys look great, I think we're ready to go". Before we walk out of the door I make sure to get a picture on my phone of this moment.
Note: I'm sorry for not updating the story sooner and I'll try to make more chapters soon.
