We had just entered the town and it was pretty dead. The streets were empty and some of the stores were open. Hunter and Gus looked amazed by the sights of the streets. To me this place can't be any cooler than where they come from. Gus is clearly getting distracted and looking everywhere.
"What do you guys want to do first" I ask. " I don't really know, what do you recommend we do?" Hunter asks. " Uh, well there's not much stuff open in the first place so we don't have many options" I say in response. " We might want to head back, I don't want Camila to wake up and find out I took you guys into town" I add.
" Wait, where is Gus" Hunter questioned. " I'm not really sure" I say while being a little worried. I was just a little worried but Hunter was visibly panicked. I didn't know what to say to calm him down. " Hunter, don't worry we'll find him the town is super small anyway" I say reassuring him. He seems less tensed up after that and starts to relax.
"Thanks Y/N I really needed that" Hunter says as a thanks. "No problem, now let's start looking". We looked everywhere and we just could not find him. I was starting to get very panicked. Then I'm looking closely and I Gus in the window of a store. " Hunter, look there's Gus" I told him. " How did he even get in there". " I'm not really sure Hunter but let's get him out". We start walking towards the store, and I touch the handle of the door and realize it's unlocked. " So this is how he got in, doors unlocked" I tell Hunter.
I walk through the door and see Gus looking at a few antique items. " Gus let's go" Hunter tells him. With that we start walking back to the house. " Well that was definitely an eventful morning" I say breaking the silence. " Yeah definitely not what I was picturing for my first day in the human realm" Hunters says. " I mean I'm loving it" Gus says.
