"Christian!!" I yelled out waking up from my deep slumber.

"Hey.. shhhh. It's okay, I got you." Christian whispered calming me down.

I took notice of my surroundings... I'm in my room back in hudrats, my head is currently on Christian's thighs and we are not alone. Mrs Rowena and Mrs Tabitha are both here.

I stared out the window and it's sunny outside. I must have slept for about six hours, seeing it's sunny outside.

"Thank goodness you are awake, I was so worried." Mrs Rowena said worriedly hastily drawing her stool closer to the bed, she takes my hands and rubs affectionately.

"What were you thinking going out there Anastasia! You knew very clearly that you do not have your powers and without them you can't protect yourself. If Christian hadn't come right on time, you had be dead." Mrs Tabitha lashed at me, her eyes holding anger and what seem to be worry.

"Tabitha! The girl just woke up." Mrs Rowena exclaimed in disbelief.

"The dragon... Christian.. how?" I thought it was all a dream, I couldn't really bring myself to believe Christian could still turn into a dragon. And wait, that wasn't day time yet?

"The ritual we did, I did not really take off my necklace. I was ready to die for my clan, so I thought it would be best to die as a half dragon half human. So with my dragon side locked in the necklace, when the ritual was performed I didn't loose it." He explained.

"Ohhh, wow. But that wasn't day time yet. Aren't you supposed to turn into a dragon from 6am?" I raised an eyebrow at him, curiosity filling me up.

"Well, I don't know how the necklace did it or how it came to be. But whenever I take off the necklace, I can turn into a dragon and whenever I wear it I become human."

From the way he talked, I could tell he is really happy about this new development.

"Why didn't you tell me? And I thought you don't like being a dragon?"

"First of, you avoided me... then the whole thing with Abaddon happened, I couldn't find the right time to tell you. And I do not hate being a dragon, I hate that I couldn't control it." As he talked I nod my head in understanding.

"Enough of the talks. Anastasia I remember I clearly told you to remain hidden at the safe house." Mrs Rowena said sighing.

"I was going to remain hidden but some pink haired girl was going to take most of the student out to fight, and since I didn't have my powers there was no other way for me to keep them in but negotiating to go out there myself. They found out I was Anastasia." I explained hopping she did understand what I just said.

"I may not know all my students by name or face, but I do know them by hair and I can assure you there's no pink haired girl in Hudrats." Mrs Maria said standing by the door. How long has she been there?

"So you are telling me you endangered your life all because of some unknown pink haired girl." Mrs Tabitha exclaimed in disbelief.

What's with her?

"What was I supposed to do? Watch a bunch of teenage kids march off to their death??" I fired back, equally angry at her refusal at reasoning.

"Yes! Your life is more important than those bunch of kids. So yes!!" She replied without any sign of hesitation.

"Tabitha!!" Rowena exclaimed standing up on her feet, her chest heaving.

"You of all people shouldn't be attacking her this way. She's your granddaughter!"

Wait. What? Who is this granddaughter?

"What are you talking about?" I asked chuckling in disbelief.

Rowena stared me having a shock look on herself, realizing what she just let out the bag of secrets. Without saying another word she left the room.
