Prologue
"Back in the year 1804 there was a girl named Dove she was twenty years old and legend has it that one day she was running around with demons that were on the surface. She was friends with them and made sure the church wouldn't find them the demons in return were protective of the girl and went against anything that tried to hurt her. One day though on a nice and beautiful morning while she was on the field with her demonic friends when someone from the church came up and saw what was happening and took it upon himself to kill the girl. He slit her mouth and stabbed her. The demons in a panic not wanting their friend to die so soon turned her body into a statue and put her soul in it until it was safe enough for the demons to get her again when they knew it was safe to get her. To protect the statue they built this cathedral so they can fight against the church and protect the very thing they had lost." Swiss Read aloud to the group from the plaque. Then he read the carving on the statue platform. "Our dearest friend and our unholy savior of the surface Dove Alister."

There stood five ghouls in a room they had never been in before. It wasn't that big of a room the ceiling was extremely tall and there was a life size statue of the girl that was presumably the one from that story. It's not that Dew didn't believe the story he did, he just didn't believe that this was the real statute of that girl nor was her body turned to stone. Dew looked at the statute with the way she looked. There she stood with her right hand over her chest holding a stone rose while her left one was on her side her hand relaxed. She wore a dress that was definitely from two hundred years ago. Her face had two slashes by her mouth that elongated it. It reminded Dew of the Black Dahlia murder that sent chills down his spine. Despite that the girl was still beautiful with long curly hair down to her wast and there was a flower crown on her head.

"Why is she named after a bird?" Dew asked like it was stupid.

"I think we should head back we could get in some trouble if someone sees us-." Aether spoke up but got cut off by Dew.

"I don't think this is actually her I think they just built this statue in remembrance of her."

"Why would they make a special room for it and keep the door locked then?" Swiss told him as a matter of factly clearly believing the story.

"I don't fuckin know!" Dew spat throw his hands up.

"Aether's right I think we should go." Mountain spoke up interrupting the brewing argument that was about to happen.

With that they went out the door they came in and locked it behind them with the key.

"Well at least it was an interesting story." Rain spoke up as they walked back down to the basement.

"I thought it was dumb, why didn't they just let her die? Like if the story is true then she is is trapped in that statue." Dew spoke with annoyance.

"I hope those demons come back and smack you in the head." Swiss said with annoyance.

Little do those ghouls know is that their demonic energy was enough to let the stone of the statue crack a little and let her soul seeped out of the crack and reformed into the shape of what her body looked like except she was translucent and a whiteish silver color except her eyes were a glowing purple. Dove looked around at her surroundings then called the names of her friends from all those years ago. Her voice quivered in panic.

"Guys please I don't know where I am!" Her voice sounded like an echo. As she wept at the sudden change in her surroundings because one moment she was in an open field and now she was in a dark room. She looked down and saw that she could look through her skin this scared her even more so she got up and went to open the door only to have her hand phase through it. She let out a scream of terror as she finally makes the realization that she is in fact dead and a ghost.
