Day out

Laura's POV

I woke up in the warm bed that I'm in due to the sun shining through the blinds I smiled and then I got out of bed and I took a shower and changed into a white shirt sleeved top and a pair of blue jeans with some trainers I brushed my hair and left it down I put on a jacket then I walked out of my room and downstairs.

I got downstairs to see nearly all the Lynches except Rocky and Ryland at the table I sat in a spot and Stormie came up to me and gave me some breakfast.

Stormie: here you are

Laura: thank you

Ross: morning

Laura: morning

Rydel: sleep well?

Laura: yes thank you

Rydel: well I hope you're ready

Laura: for what?

Rydel: me and you are going shopping today

Laura: oh yeah I'm ready

Ross: have fun

After breakfast

Me and Rydel walked out of the house and over to her car and she drove to the mall. While we were on our way we started to talk about anything that came to our minds.

Rydel: I know the first place that we will go when we get to the mall

Laura: where?

Rydel: this really nice salon where I normally get my hair done

Laura: okay

Rydel: then we will go clothes shopping

At the mall

Rydel parked the car in the car park and we both got out and walked inside and Rydel pulled me to this salon.

Inside the salon

I looked around and saw 3 people as staff, the mirrors frames were gold while the table was black and the chairs were black but they looked comfy the floor was marble, they had 4 plants in each corner of the room and the register area was in the far corner with a woman in her 40's she had red hair with brown eyes and she looked really nice.

???: Rydel are you here for a hair cut?

Rydel: not today Lucy

Lucy: well what can I do for you then?

Rydel: my friend Laura needs a whole makeover

Lucy: okay I'll get one of my girls to do that

Rydel: thanks Lucy

Lucy: Tamina you have a customer!

Tamina: coming

The other two girls left and the girl called Tamina came up to me and pulled me to one of those chairs and she washed my hair and then put in blonde dye to give the dip dye effect.

Rydel: amazing

After an hour

Tamina finished my hair and when I looked at myself in the mirror I saw a new person I felt more confident and more beautiful I smiled.

Laura: thank you I love it

Tamina: no problem

We paid and walked out of the salon and I saw guys staring at me I didn't look at them there was only one boy I wanted but I don't think he knows I like him.

Rydel: someone has admires

Laura: *sees the boys* no thanks

Rydel: is there someone that you already like?

Laura: maybe

Rydel: who? Do I know them? Can I help in anyway?

Laura: yes you know them and I don't know if you can help

Rydel: why?

Laura: it's Ross

Rydel: my brother Ross?

Laura: yeah

Rydel: omg you two would be so cute together

Laura: *smiles*

Rydel: let's go clothes shopping so we can get him to change his mind

Laura: okay

We walked to different clothes stores and we brought all sorts of clothes and they were really amazing.

After 5 hours

We ended our day at the mall and we headed home so me and Rydel can sort my wardrobe out so I would have a new wardrobe with a new look people will think I'm a new girl.

Rydel: tomorrow is Monday so you and ross will have to go to school the house will feel empty

Laura: it will feel weird to go to school looking like this people will think I'm a new girl when I'm not

Rydel: it will be fine I promise

Rydel reached her house and we both got out and grabbed the bags and we walked inside.

Rydel: mum we're home!!!

Stormie: did you two have fun?

Laura: yes

Stormie: you look beautiful Laura I love your hair

Laura: it was Rydel's idea

Rydel: *smiles*

Stormie: well it is soon going to be dinner time 

Rydel: okay me and Laura will sort her wardrobe out and then you can call us down for dinner

Stormie: okay 

Me and Rydel walked upstairs while carrying our bags and we headed to my room the Lynches have been making my room seem more like me. 

*Inside Laura's room*

We placed all the bags on my bed and then we started to look through my wardrobe and a lot of my old clothes were thrown out because they didn't fit me anymore or I wasn't keen on the style. 

Rydel: what about this?

Laura: keep it since it was given to me by my mum

Rydel: okay 

Then we started to put my new clothes into my wardrobe and drawers and we were also talking about anything that came to our mind.

Rydel: so how long have you liked my brother?

Laura: not long maybe a few months 

Rydel: how have you hid this from me this long?

Laura: because I am good at hiding my feelings

Rydel: you two are perfect for each other I remeber when he first mentioned your name and he couldn't get you off his mind he wanted to become your friend and help you through whatever you were going through.

Laura: really?

Rydel: yeah me and Riker tried to help him and then Rocky would chip in with some silly comments 

Laura: *giggles*

Rydel: I am sure Ross will come to his feelings soon and he will ask you out

Laura: thanks Rydel 

Stormie: *yells from downstairs* girls dinner is ready!!

Rydel: coming mum!!

We walked downstairs to have our dinner.
