The Incident - Emunene & Ruikasa (Sort Of Rushed)

Part 3: Chapter 3

Later

It was the next morning after the fight, a foggy, rainy day. Rui and Emu had silently left the wonderstage after the incident. They hadn't spoken since, not even a text message. Emu picked up her phone while sitting next to her window, sighing as she sees no new message. She looked out the glass window, counting the droplets sliding down the smooth surface of the window slowly. She sighed, she missed her group dearly. Hanging out with them in the evening and preforming in the daytime, coming up with future shows in cafés, but most of all, she missed Nene, she missed hugging her randomly, even if Nene freaked out, she missed running around with her. But now, she didn't know where Nene was. She looked out the window again, wishing things had turned out differently

A few hours later, Emu decided to go outside for some food. The rain has cleared up, leaving dew everywhere and the smell of rainwater in the light mist. She walked down the sidewalk, admiring all the bugs that had came out of hiding once the rain had stopped. She entered the nearby café, sitting down at a table for 2 near the entrance. She stared at her phone glumly, waiting for a new message from her friends. She only looked away from her phone when she heard a familiar shy voice at the counter. She turned to see Nene, she got up quickly

'"Nene?" Emu said, her eyes wide with excitement

The girl turned, it was Nene. Her normally emotionless face was stained with faint tears. "Emu-?"

"Nene!" Emu said, running up to her and hugging her, almost knocking her off balance "I missed you so much-! I'm so sorry about yesterday-"

"Please get off me..."

Emu stopped smiling, she quickly let go of Nene, a worried expression on her face "Nene..?"

"Emu i- I have to go-"

"What? Why-"

Before she could finish, Nene quickly walked out of the café, leaving her drink behind. Emu stood there, trying to figure out what happened, then she quickly went after Nene "Nene wait!" She yelled, trying to catch up to her, Nene kept walking, not looking back, she only stopped when Emu caught up to her "Nene please-"

"Leave me alone emu.."

"But- but why? Nene I can't I lo-"

"Just leave me alone already!" Nene yelled, tears streaming down her face. "I don't want to see you, I don't want to see any of you guys ever again! I should have never joined your stupid show group- just leave me alone! Go away.!"

Emu looked at her, her eyebrows knitting in shock and worry, tears welled in her eyes as she stood there, stunned by Nene's words

"Nene.."

"Just go, please..."

"..."

Nene walked away, wiping away her tears with her sleeve, she didn't even look back at Emu, who had been standing there, trying her best to hold back her tears. She couldn't cry, not yet, she still thought she could fix everything, but of course, not everything can be fixed. She walked home in defeat, her days had been getting worse and worse. Suddenly, the clouds came in and rain started falling, just great..
