The Incident - Emunene & Ruikasa (Sort Of Rushed)

Part 8: Chapter 7

With Tsukasa and Saki / 5:37 P.M

"Saki are you sure I need to dress up all fancy for this.?" Tsukasa said

"This is just a sweater and jeans! You're gonna need a coat in this weather, you're already having a runny nose from all your crying!" Saki said, fixing the sleeves of his pastel yellow sweater. Saki had made it her job to make Tsukasa look "beatiful" Before he left to go to the wonderstage, he didn't understand what the big deal was, "its just a meet up, we used to do this often" He had tried telling Saki that, but she believed that it was very necessary for him to look the best. Saki ran back and fourth between her room and Tsukasa's room to find random things she thought looked nice on her brother. She came back with a purple hairclip and a random bracelet with a star on it

"Are you sure this is really that necessary?" Tsukasa asked, looking at the time "It's already 5:51, I should leave now"

"Stand still so I can put this hairclip in and then you can leave!" Saki said, standing on the end of her sneakers to place the hairclip, "There! Now you can go"

Tsuksa looked in the mirror, he looked pretty good, which was no surprise, Saki loved fashion more than anyone he knew, he often found himself being the model for Saki's creations, he didn't mind though, he liked spending time with his sister.

"Oh! It's 6:02!" Saki said surprised, "You really need to go! Get your stuff quick!"

Tsukasa grabbed his bag and walked down the stairs, Saki was behind him, getting her own stuff for her meet to practice with Ichika. She grabbed her jacket and quickly left, saying a goodbye to Tsukasa and reminding him to get his coat, he waved at Saki and got his stuff and left, he still didn't know if going to the wonderstage  was a good idea, what if Rui didn't want to see me? He thought as he walked down the driveway, the wind slightly messing up his hair, the more he thought about Rui the more he felt that strange feeling again, he hated this feeling, it always made him feel flustered and awkward. He tried to brush of that feeling and continued walking to the park, it was already 6: 14 by the time he had made it to the park, he could hear their voices near the stage, he still had second thoughts about showing up, but it was too late to back out now, he inhaled sharply and went to the stage, to his surprise, all 3 of them were there, Nene was resting on Emu, who was dangling her legs off of the stage, while talking to Rui, he then realized that Rui had been staring at him, his yellow eyes looked at him with surprise, making Tsukasa blush, he felt weird being this late to something. He stood still for a few moments, not sure if he should go up to them or wait for them to see him, he was never this nervous to talk to his friends, why am I acting like this? He thought, I really should just leave, they're so happy already and I'd rather not-

"Tsukasa..?" A voice cut off his thoughts, it was Rui, he was looking at him, Tsukasa felt that uneasy feeling again, he couldn't stop staring at him, his eyes were tired and his hair was unusually messy, he stood there at a loss for words until Rui walked u to him, Nene had fallen asleep so Emu had laid down, leaving only the two of them awake. Rui stopped infront of him, not sure what to say, whenever the two of them were alone, things tended to be a bit awkward at first. Tsukasa couldn't stop looking at him, he had missed Rui a lot more than he knew it.

"I didn't think you would show up" Rui finally said, Glancing at the purple hairclip in the others hair "You look nice"

Tsukasa stood there, stunned, he thinks I look nice? He felt his face heat up as he tried to respond as calmly as he could

"Thanks.." He said, looking at the ground, this is so weird... Why am I acting like this? He didn't know why he would end up all shy around Rui, he was never like that on stage, it just didn't match his cheerful personality to be this awkward around someone. "I'm, uh, I'm sorry for running out like that a couple days ago.."
