The Incident - Emunene & Ruikasa (Sort Of Rushed)

Part 9: Chapter 8

Once they reached Rui's house, he opened the door for them and let them in his room, which, surprisingly, was pretty clean compared to how it was a few days ago, he turned the lights down and sat on the couch in his room. Emu decided to sit flat on the floor, nene sitting on her knees next to her. Tsukasa sat next to Rui, his head laid on the back of the couch, he was so tired he could fall asleep right there.

"I have some chocolate candy bars from the snack shop!" Emu saod, emptying her bag on the carpet, "They were super expensive but I got a discount!"

"Thats a lot of candies..." Nene said, "are you sure you won't get sick from all of this?"

"I'm going to share them with you guys! There's so many because of that!" Emu said happily

"So are you sure all of us won't get sick from these?" Rui joked, "Thank you for getting them, Emu"

"Of course! I know Nene likes candies, she always has some in her bag! And on her mouth sometimes, most times it's chocolate, it tastes like it atleas-"

"Thats enough talking emu!" Nene said, covering Emu's mouth, "Anyways, we should come up with something to fix that mess of a show"

The three of them talked about show plans for awhile, Emu and Rui mainly talking about their borderline insane ideas and Nene listening and telling them how it wouldn't be safe, Rui didn't seem to notice Tsukasa falling asleep on him, or he didn't seem to mind. Either way, the night was very lively, a couple hours later. Tsukasa had woken up, this time he was less tired, but it was very late, around midnight. Emu and Nene had fallen asleep on the floor, a pink blanket on top of the both of them. And Rui was next to him, he had put a blanket on Tsukasa after Emu has fallen asleep. Rui was still on his phone, he didn't notice Tsukasa wake up until he got up slightly

"Rui..?"

He looked up from his phone, "Oh, you're awake? I thought you fell asleep for the might."

"What time is it?" He replied, rubbing his eyes

"It's around 2 in the morning" Rui replied, checking the time on his phone, "You should go back to sleep, it's really late"

"Why haven't you slept yet?" Tsukasa asked, "It's late for you too!"

"Well you were asleep on my shoulder again and I didn't want to wake you" Rui said "You were asleep long before anyone else had fallen asleep, so I thought I'd just wait until you moved"

Tsukasa blushed, again?! Why am I this tired today? He needed to stop falling asleep this easily "Well you can sleep now, I woke up"

"Yeah but I'm not that tired, I slept in today"

"It's 2 am Rui! You're gonna get sick if you stay up this late!"

"I'll be fine" Rui said, smiling "if I fell asleep you would be alone here, I'd rather stay up with you than fall asleep"

"Why do you keep doing things like this!" Tsukasa blurted out, a bit too loud for his liking

Rui raised an eyebrow "Like what? I'm just being honest"

"You-you keep acting different than you usually do!" Tsukasa said, "First with you staring at me and then saying you liked being alone with me! You never did stuff like that before"

Rui looked surprised, as if he didn't know he was doing those things, he knew he had been acting off, he had missed Tsukasa dearly, making him happy to see him again. He didn't realize that it was that noticeable

"I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable"

"No, thats- I wasn't uncomfortable! It was just strange, you don't make me feel uncomfortable" Tsukasa said, stumbling on his own words "I just, I'm just confused why you're doing that"
