Chapter 1

It was July 2014, and we wake up in our hotel room in Chicago. My head is pressed to Lucas' chest and our arms are lazily wrapped around each other. Calum and Ash are on the bed next to us, and Michael is sleeping on the sofa bed. The room wasn't huge but big enough for all of us. I reach over and grab my phone, and do what I've always done. Which is scroll through my many notifications. I feel Luke's arms wrap around my stomach as he pulls me toward him so his front is pressed against my back now. I was only wearing a tank top, and what I think are Calum's boxers. So he kisses me bare shoulder and goes back to sleep.

I hold his hand with my right hand, and scroll through my phone with the other. Many, many, notifications as always. I get through less than half of them in within an hour. By this time it's about 7:00 AM. Ashton's up and Calum shifts awake. They're both just on their phones, and we have to be at Soldier Field for Soundcheck. Since Illinois is where I'm from..I'll be visiting my parents today and be back before the show. So I get up and head to the bathroom to just start getting ready. I wash my face, and brush my teeth, then brush through my tangled hair. I put some moisturizer on and started on my makeup. I barely use any, the boys hate it when I "over do it". So I just use concealer, powder, little bit of a nude and brown eyeshadow, and some eyeliner/mascara. I just use a baby lips Chapstick for my lips and I should be done. I walk out and Ashton immediately goes in to get himself ready. Luke is awake as well and is, like everyone else, on his phone.

"Good morning" I smile, hopping back on the bed. He looks at me with his tired eyes, and gives me a cute smirk.

"Good morning baby" he sweetly responds. I lean over and give him a quick kiss on the lips.

"You guys need to start getting ready you have Soundcheck at eight" I say to them. I walk over to Mikey who's mouth is open and still snoring. "Michael please wake up" I sternly say. He doesn't budge so I have to physically jump on the couch.

"Ok! Please stop! I'm awake!" He grumpily says. I know he hates it when I do that, but I do it anyway.

"What's the plan for you today?" Ash asks, walking out of the bathroom only wearing sweatpants.

"I'm gonna get dropped off at my parents house, while you guys are at Soundcheck. Then after I spend time to catchup and eat lunch with them, I'm going to pick up Jenna and bring her to the concert" I explain.

"Isn't that what you did last year?" Calum asks, eyes still glued to his phone.

"Yes, Jenna is very excited to see Niall again" I say referring to my best friend, laying my head back down on Lucas' chest.

"No she's excited to see me!" Michael argues, all of a sudden awake. Michael and Jenna hit it off when they first met when she came to visit me in Australia over Christmas break, but they never were officially a couple. They really like eachother but they live in two opposite places, their relationship is confusing.

By 7:45 the boys are all ready to go. We meet down at the lobby and see the black SUVs waiting for us. I see Liam and Harry climb into one of them, and it drives off. Luke, Michael, Cal, and Ash hop into their own car as well.

"Bye babe" Luke bids, quickly pecking me on the lips.

"Bye" I say.

I get into another black SUV and it takes me out of the city and into the suburbs. It takes almost an hour, and it's pretty quiet since I don't have anyone to talk to. I don't usually talk to the driver, so I just sit quietly and wait for me to arrive at home.

We're soon there and the driver asks when he should come back to pick me up. I said to come back here in about 3 hours. He drives off to who knows where, and I ring the doorbell excitedly. My younger sister Lily opens the door, she's only a couple inches shorter than me but she's in 8th grade, and I just recently turned 18. If you didn't know, Lucas and I have the same birthday coincidentally.
