"Julie Carter is now ready for visiting. She's currently been placed in coma, her breathing is normal, we're just waiting for her to wake up while she's in stable condition." The doctor tells us, my muscles finally relax and we all let out a breath. It's been two days since the surgery finished, but they said they need to further observe before they let us see her. I haven't left the hospital for the past couple of days, crying so much I get light-headed, and am forced to drink more fluids.

We all stand up at once and follow the doctor to different floor, and a different room. We are lead through a door and there she is, laying still on the bed with only a few things connected to her and her heart rate monitor steady. The doctor give us a few cautionary directions, then leaves us with her. I'm the first to go by her side, with Michael and Jenna behind me, and Ash and Calum on the other side of the bed. I slowly stroke her cheek, pressing my lips together in a straight smile to keep myself from crying. Just trying to enjoy this moment I've been waiting for. I chuckle a little bit, knowing she still has a chance as a tear slips from my eye and onto the thin blanket that covers her.

"Hey princess" I mumble, holding her hand. All eyes are on her, and everyone's watching intently. "We've all missed you so much. Lots of people are worried about you" I tell her, looking at her beautiful face, the small cuts have healed slightly, and a few scars hidden by her hairline. A few more tears drop from my eyes as I keep smiling at her. Jenna comes up and places her hand on my shoulder.

"Do you guys mind if I have some alone time with her?" She softly asks.

"No not at all" I respond. I squeeze Julie's hand slightly and lean forward to press a long, gentle kiss on her cheek. The rest of us leave, looking as Jenna pulls up a chair next to her bed.

Jenna's POV

Here she is, my best friend. I never thought her visit back home would turn out like this. How am I suppose to tell her that her family didn't make it? We just found out yesterday, her sister had a sudden heart failure. Which causd Luke to suddenly break-down and fall because his legs could no longer support him. Good thing Ash was there to help him up and support him by hugging him tightly as Luke sobbed into his chest. I wonder what Luke talked about with her, he went into her room a couple of times the past few days before the nurse told us. If only Julie knew that Luke and Lily got along so well.

"Julie.." I start, trying to smile and be as positive as possible.

"I'm so glad you're okay." I say. "I'm really sorry that this happened to you, anyone especially you doesn't deserve this. You're parents and Lily didn't make it, but that doesn't mean you no longer have a family. I'm still here, the boys are still here. You have a life worth living, and you know that, so many people would just love to live your life for one day. The doctors say it's up to you whether you wake up or not. I just wanted to say that I would wait weeks, months, maybe even years just for you to wake up, rather than you leaving forever. I called Noah and Jeff, they should be on their way. They were pretty mad I didn't tell them right when you were put into the hospital, instead I waited days until you could actually be seen to call them."

As if on cue, they come swiftly walking in. I could tell they were still a little mad because they wouldn't even look at me. I look over all of us, just a couple of years ago we were the best of friends that knew each other since kindergarten, and middle school we called ourselves "squad", we would take pictures of us in the same pose at different occasions. We were devasted when we heard she was moving, maybe even a little mad. But here we are, together once again.

"I heard when someone's in a coma they can hear you, but they just can't move." Noah whispers.

"I hope you choose to listen to us when we tell you how much we care about you Jules. You may have met over millions of other people across the world, but it's such a privilege to have you as our best friend, and to have grown up with you. I know the boys (Luke, Cal, Ash, and Mike) are like your brothers. But to us, you are our sister, you mean heaps to us never forget that." Jeff croaks, I never knew he could be that passionate.
