Sunny's POV:
wow, Basil's house is still the exact same since I left...I wonder if he's taken any new photos, hopefully still has some of the photo's from when we were younger, I made sure to bring the photo album just in case.
"so...how's Polly doing?" Sunny asked looking around not seeing any dust anywhere.
"oh, haha...she got another job as a babysitter somewhere else, she's doing okay." Basil replied
"oh! I didn't know you were so good at house cleaning! my house is a mess whenever mom's not around." Sunny replied with a playful smile.
Basil's POV:
wow...his personality has really changed, I never really saw him smile except when he was playing his violin. it's so cute, I could really just hug him...even though we hugged like 15 minutes ago. but that's no excuse!
"umm? Basil? are you okay?" Sunny asked me, I jumped a little snapping back into reality
"y-yeah...everything is fine...haha" I replied. I didn't know what to say. it felt awkward, but it felt great to also be able to talk to Sunny again.
"haha...you still stutter when you're nervous" Sunny said as he started to giggle.
"well you do too!" I said trying to look for a counter argument, I was failing.
"anyways, I still have to get my stuff" he said as he grabbed my hand and dragged me out the door.
"wait! you can't take me all the way to the city!" I yelled.
"Relax, my mom just dropped my stuff off at my old house" Sunny said as he let go of me. we continued walking side-by-side until they reached Sunny's old house.
"Wow, I looks almost the same as I remember, the picnic basket and everything...." Sunny said as he gazed up at the house in front of us. He looked sort of happy? Kinda sad? It was hard to put into words. But he wasn't afraid anymore, and that was something to be happy about.
