Kel's House:
No one's POV:
"So since your mom hasn't called back yet, I guess you'll just need to spend the night here." Kel's mom said.
"Oh..I guess that's fine," Aubrey said as she glanced over at Kel who already looked very exited.
"YAYY!!!!! SLEEPOVER!!!" Kel said.
"Shh! Kel! You're going to wake up Sally!" Kel's mom warned.
"Oh yeah...Sorry, hehe" Kel said as he looked back up to his mom.
"You two still need to get ready for bed, so wash up and make sure you brush your teeth, you too Aubrey." Kel's mom replied.
"Of course!" Kel said. "Come on Aubrey!"
"Wait! Kel!" Aubrey said. "What's the plan here?"
"Huh?" Kel replied.
"like where I'm gonna sleep, what am I going to sleep in, and whose tooth brush am I gonna use? stuff like that's important y'know..." Aubrey replied.
"Oh! we have spare tooth brushes in the bathroom, you can sleep in the guest bedroom, and maybe you can borrow one of my mother's old nightgowns if you'd like.." Kel said, with a smile on his face.
"are you sure you're okay with doing that, all that just for me?" Aubrey said, a little embarrassed.
"Of course!! You're one of my best friends!!!" Kel replied as they walked down the hallway.
"So this is the guest room!" Kel said as they stepped into a small room.
"Ok, thanks, is it just me, or does this place look familiar?" Aubrey remarked.
"Oh! This used to be Hero's bedroom, we had a wall built in between the rooms so we could both have some personal space, but now that Hero graduated college, he has a house of his own now, speaking of which, I think he's gonna visit us next week!" Kel exclaimed.
"Wait really?! I'm happy for him. This is like the first time I've been in your house since Sunny left." Aubrey replied.
"Yeah, well I'll see you tomorrow!" Kel said.
"Hopefully, goodnight." said Aubrey. After Kel left the room, Aubrey stood there for a couple of seconds before going straight to bed, she passed out as soon as her head hit the pillow.
