Sorry, I put it as Sunday for the pun, but it's actually Saturday so please forgive me 🥹

Basil's house

Sunny's POV:

Huh? What time is it? Is it morning already??

"!!?!-"

I remember how Basil fainted in the living room last night, but now I don't know what to do, I try not to make too much noise so I don't wake him up, But it looks like I already failed.

I watch Basil toss and turn as if they were having another bad dream, despite getting over the trauma of SOMETHING, neither of us went to therapy. So I still had terrible nightmares from time-to-time, I wasn't sure about Basil having nightmares though.

"...I don't wanna wake up yet..." I heard Basil say as he was still half-asleep. I try to be as quiet as possible as I tried to sit up without accidentally making too much noise since this was an old futon.

"..Sunny?...." I heard Basil say. I froze in embarrassment. I took Basil a couple seconds to realize I was actually there. As soon as he did, we both quickly jumped away from each other covering out faces in embarrassment.

"W-what are you doing h-here?!" Basil exclaimed as he sat up.

"What do you mean?!" I said. Basil looked around him, still not fully awake.

"Why was I sleeping on the futon?" Basil asked, confused but still a bit embarrassed.

".......about that...." I said while sitting back up. Basil sat there for a moment, Basil was wearing green pajama's with little sunflowers printed all over them, he looked too cute, I couldn't help but blush.

"Oh! Sorry, I should probably help help make breakfast first, I'll tell you afterwards" I said.

"Okay..." Basil said, still seeming tired. "I'll make some toast.."

We both sat up and walked over to the kitchen, the tile floor felt cold, but it helped me wake up. Basil took two slices of bread and put them in the toaster. We stood there in silence until the toast was ready.

*ding!*

It's Basil's phone, why are people texting him? I thought to myself, Basil looked up at his phone and he looked really suprised.

"What is it? You seem surprised? Are you okay?"

Basil's POV:

I could feel my face becoming bright red and my eyes becoming puffy, like I was about to cry. Sunny was right behind me.

"What is it? You seem surprised? Are you okay?" Sunny said.

"Y-y-yeah I'm f-fine..haha..." I said, "toast i-is r-ready..."

"Okay, I'll grab us some plates" Sunny said, as he walked over to me.

"W-what are you doing?" I asked as he got closer to me, he reached his arm up to grab something.

"This is where you keep the plates right?" Sunny said as he looked at me with a confused expression. Then our eyes met, he could see my bright red face and my puffy eyes, I felt so embarrassed, I didn't know what to do.

No one's POV:

"This is where you keep the plates, right?" Sunny asked with a confused expression, Sunny turned his head to face Basil. That's when He saw his bright red face, his eyes were a bit red and puffy, and his face was bright red, he was slightly shaking as well.

"Are you okay?" I asked. Basil's face became even more more red, he attempted to use his hands to cover his face, I grabbed his hands and held them close to my face. Basil was shaking even more now.

"W-what a-are y-you d-doing?" Basil asked in an unstable tone.

"I don't want you hiding from me, and want you to share you're problems with me like you did when we were kids, and want to be there to listen to you. So that way you won't feel alone." Sunny said, making it clear what he was trying to do.

Basil slowly pulled Sunny into a hug, Basil grabbed tightly onto Sunny and didn't let go. Sunny was surprised by this and his face turned red very quickly.

"Basil what are you doing-!!" Sunny was cut off.

"See? You're face is really red, that's cause you're embarrassed right?" Basil said.

"Huh?" Sunny asked. Basil grabbed on even tighter, trying to hide his face.

"I had a really bad dream, with you, me, Aubrey, Kel, and even my Grandma....." Basil paused. He was unsure of what to say, he didn't want to burden Sunny with his probloms.

Sunny felt bad, but all he did was hug Basil. Basil decided to continue.

"it's okay," Sunny said as he hugged Basil.

"I-it was- what I imagined w-what would happen I-if t-they did-t f-forgive us..." Basil said. He was beginning to not be able to speak properly.

"Huh?" Was all Sunny could say. All he could do was think back to the moment that they had hung MARI....he felt the horrible thing crawling inside him ever since.
