A/N: my gosh it's so strange to be writing this right now
hello loves :)
I cannot remember the last time i wrote a chapter, not even in the stories in my drafts.
firstly, i would like to apologise for disappointing anyone. these past few days i've been trying my best to reply to everyone and answer dms.
I've just started my final year in secondary school (high school) and i've realised how much the pressure of the Leaving Cert is getting to me, so i redownloaded wattpad to get my mind off of it. Probably not as productive as studying but we can see past that🙏🙏
I've also missed you guys so so so much, and i've missed writing. Writing this chapter made me remember how much fun it is to write stories, but also made me miss communicating with you guys.
YES i will be finishing this book, there's not a lot left in it, i just need time
I'm not 100% sure about the ending yet. not sure if i want to break peoples hearts or give a happy ending, but i'll figure it out as i go along.
My writing may not be the same as it was, considering i haven't updated since January and it's now October (wtf) but please bare with me as i get back into the swing of things.
Once i finish vermillion, i will be editing the whole story so that it flows better and isn't as cringe, id just like to finish it and get it out of the way before i begin its revamp
Hope you enjoy <3

"So.." Mario trailed off, sensing the tension in the room, but not even he, the joker of all jokers was able to come up with something to break the ice.
"Move back in" Ilaria butted in "pretty pleaseeeeeee" she exaggerated, and Fleur joined in, joining her hands in praying position and begging her to stay.
Circe just shook her head with a sad smile, taking a swig from her fifth cocktail of the night.
She had built up a tolerance to alcohol over the years, but the warm feeling in her chest let her know she was just on the verge of drunkenness, and by past occurrences, she wasn't the most pleasant drunk at the best of times.
"No" she snapped. Sick of their pestering and she watched as Ilaria's shoulders dropped in defeat.
"Sorry" she immediately apologised "I'm sorry. I just cant"
They all knew it wasn't going to happen. How could it?
The five of them had spent too much time apart over the past five years to ever be able to have the same relationships with each other again.
Mario and Fleur didn't even live with them anymore, sure they lived very close, for work purposes, but it could never be the same.
Especially with Kaia dead.
Fleur wore a heart shaped locket around her neck. Even after all of these years, she hadn't gotten over her angel. She didn't think she ever could.
"What have you been up to since I've last seen you?" Circe turns to ask Mario, who had just arrived ten minutes prior, much to the noticeable dismay of Ilaria.
"Well work has obviously gotten quiet, so I decided to settle down" he replied, and Circe nearly choked on her mojito.
"Settle down?" Circe asked innocently, gauging Ilarias reaction.
