Rayna
I woke up to Emoree and Corey arguing I sat up and wiped my eyes. I looked at Donovan and he was watching them.

"What's going on," I spoke.

"Corey shut the fuck up talking to me I don't want to hear your lies."

"I'm not lying Em I promise."

"Bullshit and you know it I got the DNA results in the mail earlier today so you might as well come clean."

Corey face dropped.

"Yeah nigga I checked the mail earlier today and got the results then the female who you cheated on me dm'd me with the receipts of y'all plus pictures."

"You was with her when I was having my miscarriage a baby that I wanted but you didn't want."

"I wanted our baby."

"No you didn't because the messages you sent her you said that you was glad that I had a miscarriage and that you don't want any kids with me. Fuck you Corey."

Emoree sat next to me and wiped her eyes. I looked at Donovan.

"It's time for you to go Corey."

"Yeah I know I'll talk to you later."

Corey walked out and Emoree broke down even more I sighed and rubbed her back.

"Ima leave you two alone if you need me I'm in the man cave."

"Okay."

"I outta go after him and shoot his ass."

"No Em."

"Nope I'm doing it."

Emoree got up she went in her purse and pulled out her gun I stood up. Emoree walked towards the front door.

"BABE."

No response.

"BABE," I called again.

Donovan came out of his man cave.

"What's wrong babe?"

"Go stop Em please she's about to go after Corey with her gun."

"What?"

"Go stop her please."

"Alright I'm calling your pops and hers I'll be back."

"Okay."

We kissed then I grabbed my phone and started calling Emoree phone back to back. I then sent her a text and which she called me back. We started talking and I tried to persuade her to come back to my house but she wasn't hearing it. She hung up the phone I sighed and then I called my uncle and he picked up we talked and I told her immediately what Emoree told me.

After we hung up I grabbed my car keys and put on my slides I walked out of the house locking the door behind me. I unlocked my car doors and got in i immediately locked the doors behind me. I started up my car I went to 360 life and got Emoree location and drove off.

God please don't let Emoree hurt Corey or turn around and hurt herself.

My phone dinged I looked seeing that Emoree text me once I made it to the light I read her message and my hear dropped I immediately called my uncle and I sped through the light once it turned green. I hope we get to Emoree in time I know that I don't supposed to be following them but we're close and she's my cousin I can't lose her.

Donovan
We pulled up and hopped out and ran straight to Emoree and Corey house we walked in. We heard things breaking and shouting. We ran upstairs into their room seeing Corey on his knees as Emoree stood over him.

"Emoree put the gun down."

She looked at all of us.

"Nope."

"Emoree please put the gun down baby girl you don't you're going to do something that you're going to regret."

"I don't care at this point daddy."

"Baby girl please put the gun down."

"Emoree is this really what you want to do," we heard Rayna spoke.

Emoree looked at Rayna.

"Do you remember what you told me when I went though what I went through?"

"Yes."

"So apply it to yourself I know that you're hurt and I know that you want to hurt Corey but shooting or killing him isn't the way to go. You hurt him by moving on and getting back to yourself again."

Her pops walked up to him and grabbed her gun and she fell down to her knees crying I walked over to Emoree and helped her up Rayna walked over to us and embraced Emoree.

"I'll take her back to my house get all of her things."

"Okay baby."

They walked out and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Stay away from my daughter."

We all went into their closet and started packing up all of Emoree things.

"D lemme talk to you."

I walked out of the closet.

"Wassup."

"How do I fix it?"

"You can't Corey you've broken Em down to her core I never saw Em like that ever."

"She's gone."

"For good just focus on you and your child that's on the way."

"Alright."

I walked back into their closet and went back to packing Emoree things.

Once we had everything of Emoree packed up we made our way downstairs to our cars. We loaded up the cars then I walked back inside I saw Corey drinking whiskey while looking at pictures of him and Emoree.

"You gon be good?"

"Yeah."

"Alright."

"Talk to you later."

"Yeah."

I walked out closing the door behind me I sent Rayna a text telling her to take Emoree to her parents house. I started up my car and drove off heading towards Emoree parents house. I was pulled out of my thoughts my phone ringing I looked down seeing that my jeweler was calling. I picked up and we started talking I gotta talk to Roger about proposing to Rayna then once I get his blessing I'm going to start planning the proposal which is going to be big and elaborate. My baby deserves the best and a happy ending after all the shit that she's been through.

Once I got off the phone with my jeweler I had got a message from Rayna and she told me that she wants to write a book that's about her abusive relationship and how she survived being a domestic violence survivor.
