Emoree walked over to me she gave me the look then she sat down next to me she looked around the living room then she looked at me.

"What?"

"Where's D?"

"He's at the gym. What's wrong?"

Emoree sighed.

"I slept with Corey last night."

"How did that happen?"

"We were talking and he showed me the real papers for proof then he started crying then I started crying. We kissed then next thing I knew we was having sex."

"Did you kick him out?"

"No we was at his house I left before he could wake up I was wondering if I can shower and change here if I go home he's going to pop up and use his spare key I know that he can pop up here too but he don't have a spare key for yall house."

"Yeah but it won't be long before he wake up realize that you are gone then either blow up your phone or start looking for you."

"I know I know thanks again Ray."

"You're welcome."

We hugged then Emoree made her way down to the guest bedroom I stood up and waddled inot the bathroom to pee again. After washing my hands I walked out of the bathroom seeing Donovan I smiled and walked over to him.

"Hey beautiful," Donovan spoke as he bent down and kissed me then my belly.

"Hey handsome."

"Have you seen Em Corey woke up looking for her," Donovan asked.

"Yeah she's in the guest room taking a shower."

"Alright I'm about to shower so I can love on you and baby boy properly."

"Okay baby."

We kissed one more than Donovan made his way to the bathroom and I made my way dowsntairs to eat. Since we found out the gender of the baby we've been doing alot of shopping in person and online one thing we haven't agreed on yet is a name is nursey is coming along great.

"Whew I needed that," Emoree spoke as she walked in.

"Corey is looking for you."

"I know he blew my phone up he'll be here shortly."

"Good he can help D set the final pieces of the furniture for baby boy's nursery."

"Still no name yet."

"Girl no we can't agree on a name for nothing baby boy being a jr. is out of the question and every name we both came up with one of us didn't like but I think I got a name for him hopefully Donovan like the name."

"Okay what are you about to cook?"

"That Waffle House sandwich that went viral on TikTok."

"Ooouu cook me one too."

"I'm cooking enough for everyone."

Once I was dressed I made my way downstairs seeing Emoree and Rayna in the kitchen cooking.

"What are y'all cooking?"

"The Waffle House sandwich that went viral on TikTok."

"Oh okay."

"Corey will be here soon so he can help you finish up baby boy nursery."

"Alright baby."

"And I have another name."

"Okay lemme hear it."

"Zaire Apollo Brooks."

I thought about what she said and I nodded.

"I like it."

"You do?"

"Yeah I do."

"Okay."

The doorbell rung I walked over to the door I unlocked it. I dapper Corey up then I stepped aside and let him in closing and locking the door.

"Where's Em?"

"She's cooking in the kitchen with Ray we gotta go and finish up the nursery."

"Alright let's go."

We made our way upstairs to the nursery I opened the door and turned on the lights.

"You made progress in here?"

"I did now we just gotta finish putting these together and that'll be it."

"Okay."

I grabbed the box cutter and opened the box for Zaire dresser.

"D."

"Yeah."

"We're you scared to propose?"

"Nah I wasn't I was more so scared about Ray finding out about the engagement ring since I've been getting it customized for months but she never suspected a thing."

"Okay."

"You planning on proposing?"

"Yeah I gotta make it right Emoree deserves to be a wife my wife just like Ray is about to be your wife."

"Have you two talked about marriage?"

"No but I know it's something that she wants plus I kind of sensed sadness from her yesterday at the reveal."

"Because-," Corey cut me off.

"Because Ray got proposed and we had just broken up."

"Yeah they do everything together besides having kids and being proposed."

"Right."

"I may have gotten her pregnant again though last night."

"Damn."

"Emoree is the only female that I've been messing with since we've started talking any woman before her I always wore a condom with them."

"How do Em feel about that?"

"That's the thing I didn't get a chance to talk to her because she left this morning before I could."

"Okay yeah y'all definitely need to talk and see if y'all are on the same page with having kids again after Em suffered that lost."

"Right."

"Guys come eat," Ray called out.

We rushed out of Zaire room and downstairs to the kitchen Rayna handed me my plate and she kissed me.

"Thank you baby."

"You're welcome."

"Corey can we talk."

"Yeah baby."

"We can give you two some time alone," Rayna spoke.

"No y'all are fine."

I started eating.

"Do you still want kids with me?"

"Yeah baby my mind hasn't changed I know you suffered a miscarriage I was worried that you wouldn't want any more."

"Of course I want to I love kids and want my own."

"Okay."

"Now marriage."

"I got something in the works don't worry about it and Ray you won't know because you'll tell Em."

"Actually I won't I don't care how much she'll beg and plead me I won't budge and tell her anything."

"Really Ray?"

"Yep something like this I won't tell you because it's special and you need to be surprised."

Emoree smacked her teeth and Rayna shrugged her shoulders and continued with eating her food.
