                                Chapter Four

After Bailey planned my whole outfit herself, we decided to buy them at the mall. We picked up ripped light blue skinny jeans, a white long-sleeved cotton cardigan, and white converse. Bailey tried to force me to get heels, but I said fuck no.

Me in heels? Funny.

We picked up some jewelry too and I grabbed a tiny chain necklace that says 'hope' in cursive. It's cute, and it fits me perfectly.

"I don't know about this," I shift nervously as I look in the mirror at my outfit.

The party has already started, but Bailey said we will just be fashionably late. Bailey was going to get ready with some other girls, but she canceled on them when I told her I was going. She said, "Remember I told you I'm going to take you to your first party."

So now I'm standing here waiting on her to finish her own hair. She did my makeup light, and I'm thankful for that because I haven't worn makeup ever since Jayden threw away all of mine.

My eyeshadow is a dark tan color and I only have eyeliner on my upper waterline. I put on mascara and a light pink lip gloss. Other than that, we just straightened my hair. It reaches the middle of my back and it's my favorite thing about my body. I love my hair.

"You look hot Liz," Bailey said as we head out the door. We decided to call an uber just in case we get drunk.

I'm scared to drink since I've never been aloud too but fuck it.

"Not at hot as you," I shook my head laughing lightly and locked the door behind us.

It's true, she's wearing a skin-tight red skirt with matching red crop top. It's hot as hell, and she pulls it off well with her thin waist and small curves.

"Whatever," she waves me off as we head downstairs to meet our uber.

If I said I wasn't nervous I'd be lying. The only kind of 'parties' I've been to are when Jayden has his friends over and they would all get fucked up. He started hanging out with a bad crowd and started doing drugs, but I think he's always done them. I think I was too blinded by puppy-love to see all the shit he does.

Once the blindfold came off, I saw everything.

"We're here," Bailey said, pulling me from my thoughts, "Let's go."

She pays the driver and slides out of the backseat with me behind her. It's a sight that's for sure. It's a two-story house, but I can't pay attention to details when there are people scattered all around the front lawn and on the porch.

Red solo cups and bottles thrown all over the grass and driveway. It's an absolute mess.

"I feel bad for whoever lives here," I give her a look as we walk up to the front door, "It's a damn mess."
