                               Chapter Seven

The girls tried to talk to me about what happened at the party Friday, and I lowkey blew them off. I just told them I was way too drunk, and Axel scared me. They believed it because it's Axel. Everyone is scared of him.

Not me though, I just had a weak moment.

He's a bitch.

A very attractive one though

Ugh, shut up.

"Liz!"

After the employee called out, I walked up to the counter and grabbed my coffee. It's 7:45 and I have class at 8. It's the first day, and to say I'm nervous is an understatement.

The halls aren't crowded and its pretty dead outside, but I think that's because not a lot of people schedule a class so early. I had too though since I knew I would be getting a job.

Speaking of which, I should be getting a call about that soon. Hopefully today. I've been living off of cheap noodles and tv dinners. It's getting gross, fast.

I make my way down the first row and sit at the very end, class slowly started to fill up. By 8 almost every seat was filled. A petite redhead is sat beside me, but she hasn't acknowledged me.

The doors slamming open pulled my attention to the door. An older woman, possibly in her 40s, is walking towards the desk with a coffee in one hand, and a stack of papers in the other.

The professor speaks as she sits her stuff on her desk, silencing the light conversations around us, "I'm Mrs. Baker, and this is pre-med Anatomy 101. Look at your schedules to make sure you are in the right class." she pauses as she writes her name on the board.

When she's done, she turns around and grabs the stack of papers. She drops a stack at the first person on the end of the rows as she speaks, "This is your syllabus. I will not replace it, so don't lose it. Once everyone gets one, we will begin with our first lessen."

After twenty pages of notes, and a simple overview of what she showed us today, class is finally over. It wasn't as bad as I expected, but I knew it wouldn't be easy. None of my classes are going to be easy. I need the credits to get into medical school though.

I put my notes in the bag as soon as the bell rings. When I stand, I realize I have to wait until everyone in my row clears out.

Fucking hell

I'm thinking about going to grab a donut and coffee before going to the library. Mrs. Baker gave us a simple quiz in our book, and we have to turn it in next Monday. I'll probably go ahead and do that, and maybe get me a book to read.

My next class don't start until one, and it's only 11AM. I have time to kill, and no friends so it seems like a good option.

I decide to stop at the little coffee stand in our courtyard for my snack, and while I'm waiting for my coffee, I see my friends hanging out at one of the tables. The thought of going over there crosses my mind, but only for a second. Once I seen Axel and the brunette, I dismiss that idea immediately.
