Chapter Eight
"Thank God it's Friday," Bailey groans from her bed.
The week went by pretty fast for me, and today is the first football game of the season. I never noticed how it started at the beginning of the school year. It makes sense though; they have all summer to relax, but I doubt they do anything except that.
My classes weren't too bad, and my teachers are actually pretty nice. I've got homework for every single one of them, but I normally go to the library and work on it right after class.
Since my only friends are cheerleaders, I haven't been out much. When they aren't practicing, we go out to eat for an evening or meet up with the guys at their house.
As for Axel and me, we haven't held a conversation since Monday at the library. He's odd, but I can now hang out with our friends, and he don't glare at me. At least not the whole time.
I found out the brunette's name is Ashley. She has been a big problem, but since she is friends with Bailey and Jamie, I've been trying to play nice. I don't get why she hates me so much. I understand that I walked in on her naked, but I didn't see anything. Besides she's the only one holding a grudge.
Maybe I interfered before she could cum.
Oop- stop.
Anyways, she's been giving me nasty looks and snarky comments every time I see her. I'm keeping my calm, but fuck if she doesn't quit, I'll lose it.
After putting up with Jayden's bullshit for so long, I have no intentions in letting someone push me around like that again.
"I know," I reply back to Bailey with my face shoved into my pillow. We decided to sleep in since neither of us has classes today. I think last time I checked it was almost noon.
"When does the game start today?" I question, lifting my head up to look towards her. She's laying on her back and rubbing her eyes harshly.
Ouch
"Six, but I have to be there early for warm-ups," she said as she slowly sits up and muffles a yawn, "You can still come with me. It's only thirty minutes earlier."
I mentally punch myself for not having any other friends. Who the hell am I going to sit with.
"Fuck Bailey," I sit up immediately and groan loudly, "who the hell am I going to sit with."
"You can sit on the sidelines close to us," she gives me an apologetic look as she stands up and heads to the bathroom.
"No thank you!" I yell back in a playful tone as she closes the door to the bathroom. "I need more friends!"
I hear her laugh through the door, and I stand up to pick out what I'll wear to the game. Pulling down a red shirt and blue jeans, I set them to the side while I wait for Bailey to finish.
