Chapter 19: The Wishes

Xeelai's wish

Xeelai, knew precisely what he wanted, he was a bit skeptical about it coming true but he decided to try anyways and see what would happen, before he closed his eyes, he looked at Maanaa, he had always wanted to be her man, despite all the women running after him, but he's not sure she liked him back. 

Xeelai has always had a crush on Maanaa from afar, but he was unsure to approach her because Aliaan was circling guarding her like a watch dog, he has assumed before that they were in a romantic relationship, but soon learned it was not the case after interacting with Aliaan a few times- most of which were conflicts- he approached Maanaa to talk about Aliaan once and they ended up clicking and becaming friends.

Xeelai: " I wish Maanaa would tell me how she truly feels about me!" *sighs* " That's it, I can't be too greedy and though I want her to like me back, I can't change what she currently feels because that would be cheating"

Maanaa's wish

Maanaa was still hesitant between a few wishes, she's been wanting to travel the universe with Xeelai for a while, and after this experience to take this as a stepping stone to embark on a new adventure and shift the course of what has been a somewhat boring life.

Despite Maanaa being one of the best in her field, she always felt a calling to explore something entirely unlike her, that's why she found herself gravitating towards people that were very different from her calm, reserved character, namely Aliaan and Xeelai.

Maanaa always did what she had to do growing up, and after remembering her previous lives, she noticed she didn't change much, always doing what she was supposed to do, she decided that this life, she will try new things and travel to new places to free herself from the shackles of comformity.

Maanaa: " I wish to have a sturdy device I can replicate to travel the multiverse in a safe, fast and easy way" * opens eyes and stares at the spheres* " This should do, I can also make it a business by replicating it"

Luz's wish

Luz has been set on one goal and one goal only, she takes this as an opportunity to prove everyone else wrong, that she can have what she wants despite what they had to say. After all, she thinks this is the key to her and Aliaan's happiness.

Deep down, Luz has always wanted to have a family of her own, she grew up an orphan most of her life, and she wished she had at least one sibling like some other orphans she lived with, she always felt alone and unloved, no one came to adopt her and she didn't really have any friends and was bullied until Maya came to her orphanage, everything then changed for her, Maya stood up for her once and Luz started following her around ever since, so naturally they became friends.

Luz: " I wish to become pregnant with Aliaan's baby the moment I leave this place!" 

She opens her eyes to see Aliaan his eyes closed still wishing, then Marco who's already finished with his wish, she thinks to herself that his wish must not have been well thought through compared to Aliaan, which makes her curious about what Aliaan is wishing.

Luz: " He must be asking for the same thing as me or probably to find a way to come back quickly"

Marco's wish

Marco, has always had a dream and a set goal that is hard to come true, despite his hard work and him trying so many things, he never got to see the fruits of his hard work, not only that, he got cheated and was never paid for some of his work. He saw this opportunity as his wish fulfillment.
