Luz felt incredibly uncomfortable going to Aaraa, was it the weather? the pregnancy? She suddenly couldn't care less about a place she's been dreaming of visiting, she wasn't feeling particularly excited about now being able to visit Aliaan whenever as she did before, there was something completely different about the way she felt about Aaraa and Aliaan but she couldn't pinpoint the reason, she even forgot about how nervous she was when thinking about meeting her extraterrestrial inlaws.
Thiyya noticed her behavior in Aaraa and now back on Earth, she thought it was probably because of Aliaan running away so she decided to ask.
Thiyya: " Hey Luz, are you alright? you seem quite different"
Luz: " I feel rather indifferent and I can't understand why!"
Thiyya: " You? indifferent? that's beyond weird!"
Luz: " I'm not indifferent about everything, just anything related to Aliaan, also Aaraa sucked ass"
Thiyya: " Are you perhaps still mad at what he did?"
Luz: " No, that's the thing, I really... just... don't care"
Ziri: " Could it be because of the pregnancy? I heard women can just hate their spouses and all because of it"
Thiyya: " I think, it's still too early for that!"
Marco: " This baby is only half earthen, we don't know how much it will take to birth it"
Everyone turns to Marco, mouths wide open. Till now, none of them have even considered this, not even Luz, the process by which an Aaraan baby is made is nothing like how an earthen one is. And now there was another reason added to why this pregnancy can be very dangerous.
Maya: " Luz, do you feel any physical change?"
Luz: " Not at all, I still feel the same."
Maya: " When did you notice this sudden change in how you felt?"
Luz: " When we reached Aaraa, before that, despite being hurt by what Aliaan did, I was still quite excited to see Aaraa and possibly meet my inlaws."
Marco: " Could it be that Aaraa changed something in you? or maybe you didn't like it?"
Luz: " It was hot and humid and heavy, but it still doesn't explain my sudden loss of interest"
Maya: " This is very strange, especially knowing what kind of person you are"
Luz: " Guys! I'm so tired, I need to go home and rest"
Ziri: " Want me to give you a ride?"
Luz: " No, I'm good, you guys carry on"
Luz leaves and the others see her out, then go back to their discussion.
Thiyya: " I still don't get how she could change so fast!"
Ziri: " I guess time will tell, but the Aaraans are sure taking their time!"
