reis pov:

I was woken by the sound of yelling, i could hear shouting coming from outside but i didn't think much of it since i thought it was just wonwoo playing some video game, but that was until i heard something that caught my attention

'why is rei even here? she's practically useless' someone had said

'why am i here?' i ask myself, i don't really know myself

but hearing that from one of their mouths hurt, its like they've taken an oath to hate me. everyday they find something to be mad at me about, lets see what today is

i decided to go out and see what's happening, i got out of bed and opened the door, the second I opened it, seungcheol said "here comes my headache, she's here to annoy us again" what did he mean by that?
"don't say that" joshua defended me, "she did

nothing to you, you can't just hate her over something a stranger online said." i was very confused at this point, what happened?

"what happened?" i asked hoping to get an answer, but nothing so i tried again "what happened" still no response

"just go away" seungcheol said, i just simply listened because i was too tired to argue back and sat in my room because seungcheol looked quite upset right now

no one's pov:

hoshi and vernon came into reis room only to find rei sitting there staring out the window

"rei? are you okay?" vernon asked, rei turned her head around

"what happened outside? why do they 'hate' me?" rei said air quoting the last bit. "that's not true they don't hate you, it's just that... it's complicated" hoshi said

"wow hyung that's a clear answer" vernon said sarcastically, "seungcheol hyung just needs some time right now" vernon explained

"time? why? what happened and what does it have to do with me?" rei asked

"he saw a comment online saying you're only in our group because you're a girl that likes attention and that you do nothing for our group, like we're your
servants or something" hoshi said like it was nothing

what he said was... hurtful, how could seungcheol just believe that? hes the one who always said not to believe in rumours online

especially baseless rumours. he knows im not a "girl who seeks attention" and i do do things for the group, so why?

"hyung you could've explained it better, you hurt the poor girl," vernon said, hugging rei. hoshi just shrugged and said "sorry" for being a little too brutal with his words

"i'm... gonna go" rei said

"Go where????? SEE HYUNG YOU MADE HER FEEL BAD!" vernon yelled at hoshi

"no no no, it's just that, i need fresh air right now" rei said

rei went into the washroom and changed into some casual clothes, after rei finished getting dressed she went into the living room only to see seungcheol staring at rei with an unfamiliar facial expression.
it was weird and creepy.

"off to a date?" seungcheol asked as joshua hit his shoulder "i mean shes always going out and we never know what she could be doing you know" seungcheol replied in response

"watch your words" joshua said, "where are you going rei?" joshua asked rei

"to get some fresh air, bye" rei said coldly, walking out the door

you as rei pov:

after you got out of the house you put a mask and sunglasses on so no one would recognize you.

you decide to take a walk to your friend's house since his house was nearby, and plus, you haven't been to his house in a long time so it's a win-win!

you continued walking as you finally reached his house, you knocked on the door and his mom answered!

'oh hi rei! it's great to see you" she said she pulled you in for a hug and you gladly returned it

"whos here?" you hear haneul shout in the background

"oh it's rei don't you want to see her?" his mom shouted. he came out and squealed as soon as he saw you because you haven't seen each other in a very long time.

"what brings you here?" he asked. "oh I just wanted to see you since I was walking this way I thought I would come visit you!" you said, partially lying because it was only because you wanted to get your mind off of what happened back at home

"oh ok that's awesome, come often if you can!" he asked and you nodded.

"let her come inside, why are you guys talking outside lets go!" his mom said as you and haneul followed her into the house and made yourselves comfortable on the couch

"is everything ok back at home, are you having any trouble with work or anything?" his mom asked, she had always been a mother figure to you since your parents lived abroad and were working so you weren't able to see them. luckily she was always there for you

"yeah everything's going great" you said.
although you had come here to take your mind off of things you still couldn't forget about the incident that happened at home

*time skip: from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm*

"I better get going, it's late everyone might be worried" you said as you bid them goodbye

"hey do you think I can come with you to drop you off? plus I haven't seen where you live so I think it would be a great opportunity right now!" haneul asked

"oh sure I guess that's all right" you replied

"bye! be safe!" his mom said as you both got in the car and drove off

*at the dorm*

you and haneul got out of the car and started walking towards the dorm, you had actually

forgotten about what happened in the morning since you had so much fun at his house with his mom.

you walked up to the dorm as you dragged him along with you since he was too shy to see the other boys "oh come on they're not that bad actually really nice!" you assured him as he nodded

you unlocked the door into your surprise no one was sitting there in the living room, 'I guess they're all in their rooms' you said to yourself

you and haneul stepped inside as he shouted for them to come down, but no one replied

you forgot that seungcheol was still mad at you. you looked over at the dinner table and saw they had already eaten

"I'm sorry I don't think they're home right now" you lied to haneul, "I'm so sorry for dragging you in here" he said it's OK and left.

you were still kind of hurt, you knew that seungcheol was mad but why did they all have to ignore you?

'i'll ask them tomorrow' you thought.

and just like that your day was over.
