Lahela leaned into her hand.

She read over the medical files that were placed on her desk earlier that morning. She had looked in nearly every one of them. Lt. Bradley Bradshaw, Lt. Wren Austen, Lt. Natasha Trace and Lt. Mickey Garcia were the ones she had looked at so far.

She closed Lt. Javy Machado's and picked up the next one. Her eyes widened.

"No." She practically threw the file across her desk. One look at the aviator's name and she was brought back to Hawaii.

Lt. Robert Floyd.

That traitor.

Lahela thought they had something special. Bob was sweet, kind and quiet she never expected to be broken hearted over him. But here she was, six years later and he obviously wasn't. He just up and left no goodbye.

"I can't do that I have to be professional." She gave herself the pep talk.

Lahela walked around her desk and picked up the file again. She opened it up, but she knew all of the things in here by heart already. She closed the file with a sigh and shuffled it to the bottom.

She would save that for another day.

The Dagger squad had become a permanent fixture in Miramar.

But they were broken.

Jake had up and left for Texas and practically cut off all contact with the rest of them. Bhavika had been in a coma for two years now and nobody knows when she will wake up.

They did the best they could to function like a regular squadron but it wasn't working for them.

The only good thing that came was Lieutenant Wren "Hawkeye" Austen. But she and Bradley always seemed to be butting heads.

Robert Floyd felt alone for the first time in three years.

He sat at the Hard Deck alone staring at the half empty bottle of beer in his hand.

"Hey there." Penny leaned over the counter.

"Hi." He sighed and looked up at her.

"You're here more often than normal. Mostly by yourself I've noticed."

"We are falling apart Penny, I can't even lie to you." Bob sighed and set down the bottle, looking at it made him sad. Penny placed a bottle of water in front of him.

"Pete told me. He's broken up about it." Penny told him.

"Has he told you that Natasha is thinking about leaving? If I don't have a RiO I can't fly." He asked her but she shook her head. "She's losing hope, she wants to move back to San Francisco with Athena and stop flying."

"Have you tried to stop her?" He just nodded.

"I think she'll become coming to a decision soon. I'll have to find work somewhere else, transfer to a new squadron. I really don't want to do that." His voice cracked.

The bell above to door to the Hard Deck rang and Penny smiled at the newcomer. "One second."

"Hi there can I get you something to drink?"

"Just a beer." Bob's eyes widened. He knew that voice.

"Shit, shit, shit." He swore in his head. He looked over his shoulder for confirmation. And he got it.
