"Aviators, we have a new foxtrot team on loan to us from Virginia." Everyone looked around at each other.

They just acquired Wren did they need more?

They had three foxtrot teams and 6 fighter pilots. Did they need two more people?

"I know what you are thinking. We have a large team already, do we need more? And the answer to that is yes." Cyclone stood at the podium looking at a crowd of uninterested aviators. "All I ask you is to be welcoming to the pilots." He just shook his head and motioned to Maverick.

"Okay send them in." Maverick waved and two women entered the room. " Lieutenant Commander Cassandra "Tundra" Kazansky and Lieutenant Valentina "Sahara" Ford."

Everyone's heads whipped up. Bradley was immediately out of his chair and running towards Cassie, they all smiled at the familiar faces.

"Kazansky!" He yell and tugged her into a massive hug.

"Hey Bradshaw." She laughed and he picked her up with ease.

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" He said and put her down.

"Last minute and Mav here told me to stay quiet." She nudged her head over to Maverick.

"Nice to see you again Kazansky and Ford." Natasha called to the other two women and they both turned to her.

"Nice to see you too Trace. You too Floyd!" Cassie smile in their direction.

Cassie and Val had come on the uranium mission with them as well. It wasn't long after her father died, but somehow Cassie still managed to pull of the mission with complete skill and focus. They were both and impressive team and there was no wonder Cassie was the first of them to get the Lieutenant Commander title out of all of them, she deserved it. Bob just hoped she had sorted things out with Javy or things would get messier than they already were.

"Wanna get out of here? I love those two but I'm getting a headache from all this forced proximity." Natasha offered.

"Sure why not." He shrugged in agreement, it was getting pretty hot in that hangar.

The duo left the hangar and looked out on the tarmac where all of the planes were lined up.

"Flying is not the same. Ever since the mission it's just felt like a chore to do.....and he's not listening." She trailed off when she saw his eyes travel to Lahela exiting the medical center. "Okay what was that."

He jumped in surprise, "I've seen love to many times to count but that was like soulmate shit. What's going on there?"

"Well I, uhm. So the thing is, uhh."

"Spit it out Floyd." She turned to him.

"We were stationed at the same base and we went on a few dates, then I ghosted her." His words got quieter as the sentence went on.

"You what? I couldn't hear what you said?"

"I ghosted her." He mumbled again.

"Bob speak up." She looked him dead in the eyes.

"I ghosted her." He finally said an embarrassed blush settling on his cheeks.

"You Bob Floyd, ghosted a woman? Wow I never thought I'd live to see the day Bob Floyd ghosted a woman." Natasha shook her head with a chuckle. "She clearly like you too."

"What part of running away from me as soon as she sees me looks anything like love to you?"

"Please love is different for everyone. For example Rooster and Hawkeye they show affection through insults. So if you find them making out behind the Hard Deck give me all of the credit." Bob stifled a laugh. "You on the other hand, looks to me like you are afraid of commitment. One good thing happens to you and you don't think you deserve it, so you run."
