The Story of Time

Free Time Part 1

A/N: Hi so...we're going to take a slight detour from the original story plot but we will be back after this episode!!! I really hope you all enjoy this! And we all know that Alice and Blood are the original cannon paring so I'm going to do a bit of Julius x Priya...aka kinda me. My friend told me I should do more Blood and Alice stuff so I'll be doing that soon. Don't forget to voice yourself in the comments and tell me your thoughts! I'm open to ideas!!! (We're going to start with Alice's 72 points scene) ENJOY!!!

I watched as Alice stood there.

You could hear her heartbeat from where I was...

"H...." She paused as Julius raised the cup to his lips. "H-how is it?"

I could cut the tension coming from her with a knife if I wanted to.

...

"Seventy-two points" Came the Clockmaker's cool reply.

"Huh!?" Alice held onto the silver tray even tighter as she voiced her complaint. "That's so low!"

"It's just coffee Alice." I said as I grabbed the cup from Julius and took a sip... "Oh God, that's strong! What did you do, pulverize the beans!?" I handed the cup back to Julius.

"That is exactly what I was thinking." Julius took the cup from my hand and put it to his lips again.

"I know, it would seem like that reflects her personality." I looked over at Alice who was mumbling about how she thought the coffee had come out good this time.

"It reflects her need to over do her tasks and prove some kind of point...or at least that's what I think." He took a sip from the steaming cup.

"Both of you...please don't psycho-analyze me via coffee beans..." Alice looked at us with an "urrg" expression. "And I didn't grind them into powder."

I walked over to the loft bed, climbed up the ladder and plopped myself down on the mattress. I watched as Alice told Julius that he was being too strict and him telling her that he looked forward to her next effort...

"Hey lovebirds," I made sure to emphasize the last word to get their attention.

"E-EXCUSE ME!!!?" Julius flushed and looked my way.

"PRIYA!!!" Alice didn't look flustered but rather dissapointed.

I looked at Julius first. And of course, he gave me the death glare.

"Oh come on, Mr. Grumpy Gills! Learn to take a joke." I waved his stare off.

"You know, it really makes no sense for Alice and Julius but maybe...you and Julius would be more accurate."

I shuddered. I knew that voice...

The Threesome Joke came to mind as I faced the one and only Knight of Hearts.

"Not you, pervert!" I didn't bother using the ladder to decend from the loft. I vaulted over the railing and landed with barely a thud...a technique I've practiced of course.

"Hey, hey now. Don't get me confused with Peter! And that was only cuz of how you were naked and Julius was in the tub with you and--" I slapped my hand over his mouth.

"Shut up! That had nothing to do with you!" I barked.

"Wait, what!?" Alice looked at Julius who had gotten ever redder. "W-when did that happen!?"

"It was when I was shot!" I took my hand off of Ace's mouth. "I got woozy from the loss of blood and I slipped...well..." I looked away from all of them. "Long story short, Ace walked in at the wrong moment and made a stupid threesome joke. Now, I'm going to make myself something to eat, goodbye!!" And with that, I stomped into the kitchen and prepared to make myself a sandwich.

I stood on my tippy toes to try and reach for the last remaining mug.

Alice had bought juice last time she went shopping and no one had tried any yet...so I decided that I'd be the first.

But...

I'M NOT TALL ENOUGH TO REACH THE TOP CABINET WHERE THE LAST MUG RESIDES!!! IT'S SO FRUSTRATING!!!

As I continued to struggle, I didn't hear someone come up behind me...

"Need help with that?"

I blinked. That voice...

I looked over me to see a pale, slender hand. It grabbed the cup and placed it in my outstretched hands.

"You've been having some dirty thoughts this past half hour...so I decided to see what's up--you know, without having to make you fall asleep first.

I twirled around to see a smirking, and surprisingly not flying, Nightmare!

"H-how--"

"I can come out of the dream world whenever I want." Said the tall man. He looked at me with one silver eye and brushed a strand of my hair out of my face. "The Clockmaker's confused as well, you know. His mind is going crazy!"

"Uhh...Nightmare..."

"Yes?" He beamed.

I reached up and grabbed the purple cloth that hanged from his jacket. He looked at me in confusion while I dabbed the edge of his mouth.

Blood was trickling down his chin. "How do you manage to stay alive?" I was practically laughing by him not even realizing that the crimson liquid was flowing out of his mouth.

"You don't have to do that--" He tried to grab the price of cloth from my hand. But I was quicker.

"Catch me if you possibly can, my sickly... dream friend!" I ran to the other end of the kitchen.

"I can't run in my condition!" Nightmare sprinted at me anyway, desperate for his cloth back.

I guess you will run anyway, Nightmare!

GIVE IT BACK!!!

Nightmare lunged at me. One of his legs in mid air and both hands grabbed my dress.

"Ha! I got you now--"

"What is going on in here!?"

I was laughing at Nightmare but suddenly stopped as I heard a deep and shocked voice come from the doorway.

Julius hurried over to Nightmare and immediately ripped him off my dress. He then pinned him to the wall. "What are you doing here, Nightmare!?"

"She-she couldn't reach the cup!"

"That's no excuse!"

"Julius! Let go of him!!" I grabbed Julius from behind and tried to pull him away from Nightmare.

"It's fine Priya, he just thinks that I'm going to try and steal you from him--" Nightmare was silenced by a hand on his throat.

"Bastard! Shut up!" Julius roared.

"STOP JULIUS!!! PLEASE LET GO OF HIM!!!" I screamed.

Alice and Ace came rushing into the room.

"Nightmare!?" Alice put a hand over her mouth when she saw him being strangled.

"Julius! Hey man, stop!!" Ace barely managed to yank Nightmare and the Clockmaker apart. He stood in front of Nightmare and I, having the opportunity of moving out from behind him, ran over and hugged him as tight as I could from the front side.

"What has gotten into you?" I felt tears form in my eyes.

"Nightmare, time to vanish." Ace called and I heard a whoosh sound from behind me.

"Come on Ace, let's umm...take a walk or something..." Alice suggested and I heard her start dragging him out of the room.

"Oh cool! I'll take us to this really awesome--"

"No! I'll never let you lead me anywhere again!" She shouted before closing the door behind herself.
