My Little Birdie!

I woke up to an orange sunset...

"Wow, waking up on an evening period is rare..." I yawn as I sit up.

"--and so...she's working there now..."

I couldn't mistake Ace's voice when I heard it.

Ooh, wait till you find out what happened!

Shoot! I had a dream less sleep! Darnit all! I was going to give Nightmare a brutal piece of my mind...oh well, it'll have to wait until next time~

"I see. Well, who am I to restrict her movements?" Julius sounded as cold as ever.

Last "night's" events came crashing down on me. Oh God what have I done!? How am I going to tell Alice!? I am soooooooo dead...

"Kay Julius, I'm off to work, see ya later!"

"Keep it down, Priya's still sleeping."

I peer over the bed and immediately meet Ace's eyes. I quickly put a finger to my lips and wink.

Ace smirks and puts on his mask as he walks out of the workroom.

~♡~☆~

I wait a few minutes before I decended the ladder.

"It's about time you got up." Julius commented from behind me.

"What, a girls gotta get her beauty rest. Unlike someone who doesn't sleep at all!" I walked over to Julius' desk only to find that he was currently working on only one of the large pile of clocks that sat in his box. "What the hell happened!? That's a lot of clocks!!"

"There was conflict between the Mafia and the Park. Out of a large group of about....fifty people, around five survived would be my best guess." Julius sighed and put down his wrench.

"So you have forty-five clocks to fix?"

"Heh, and buy the next few time changes, I might have a lot more. The Mafia isn't holding back, yet, when does a Mafia ever hold back?" Julius looked a bit sad, fixing clocks always takes its toll on him.

I looked down at my current attire, Julius' night shirt. "Umm...can you get me some more clothes?"

He looked up at me and nodded.

With one clap of his hands, I was dressed in a completely different outfit this time.

"Better?" He asked.

"Yes. Thank you." I said while examining it. Even the color of my hair and eyes changed to compliment the outfit...but I liked it so there was no complaining on my end...yet I did look like a totally different person...I wonder why he did that...Heck, I didn't even know he could.

I watched him swiftly get back to work. But, he was a bit less precise with everything, less graceful than usual....oh don't tell me he didn't sleep! Oh shoot, what am I going to do!? He's gonna reject me if I ask him to take a break...though it's worth a try...

"Maybe you could take a break?" I suggested as I squeezed my eyes shut upon the reply.

"I can't, if I do more now, then I'll have less work later." As he finished talking, I shook my head in diaproval. I knew he was going to say that.

"No you won't, you can't control when someone dies, Julius. Who knows, there could be a major shoot-out at the Castle next!" My irritated voice hissed.

"Please, don't jinx it."

I huffed and stomped into the kitchen. If Julius ends up overworked, I'm gonna be stuck taking care of him! He can be so difficult at times!

I grabbed a bowl and set it down on the counter. The window was open so I paused for some fresh air...maybe a walk around the territory will make me feel better.

Suddenly a bird swooped into the window. It was a small and slender one with light blue plumage. Must be quick at getting places...

"Hey there." I picked up a seed from the fruit I was about to cut into the bowl, and fed it to her.

She happily ate it.

When I tried to shoo her away before Julius saw a bird in his kitchen, it flew on top of my shoulder and refused to leave for the next five minutes.

"Jeez..." I sighed in defeat. "If you're going to leave ever in your life time, then I suggest you do it now."

I looked down at it and it stared back up at me.

"Fine! But if you're staying then you're going to do some chores! Get that napkin over there would ya?" I was being totally sarcastic, knowing birds didn't understand human speech.

But, the bird took off in the direction of the napkin box, opened it with its beak, grabbed one of its contents, and closed it again before flying back to my shoulder.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!! I-I-IT JUST GOT ME A NAPKIN!!!!!! THIS IS A REVOLUTIONARY DISCOVERY!!!! EVERYONE CAN HAVE LITTLE BIRD SERVANTS NOW!!!! I'LL MAKE MILLIONS OFF OF THIS!!!! WOOO!!!

I mentally slapped myself. That would be totally wrong...besides it'll be nice to have a little company besides the grouchy workaholic in the other room.

"Okay, stuffs about to get real now." I said as I gently took the bird off my shoulder and set it on the counter. "Do you want to stay with me? Raise right wing if yes, left if no."

It obediently raised its right wing.

"Okay, same principle applies for the future questions I'm about to ask."

The bird nodded.

"Do you have a name?"

Left wing.

"Do you want one?"

Right wing.

"Awesome! Let's try some, okay?"

Right wing.

"Hmm...Jackie?"

Left wing.

"How about Lucy?"

Another left wing.

"Abby?"

Nope.

"Zoe?"

Again the bird raised her left wing with a no answer. Sheesh, picky bird...

Oh I got one!

"How about Angel?"

It took a while for her to think about it. She raised her left wing.

"Urrg!!! What about--urrg!!! Julia!?" I had to admit, I was thinking of Julius but somehow a female version of it slipped out...

A right wing response.

"Oh FINALLY!!!" I whooped in victory. I can't believe that worked! Thank you Clockmakah!!!

A/N: I was bored, don't judge. But hey, Julia goes get a role in this later...

Reason for outfit change (look at pic in the beginning for reference) there's something fishy going on in Wonderland. You'll find out next chapter. And I tell you about the hair and eye color change before you get really confused. He dyed her hair and used his "MAGIC!!!" to make her eyes change color. The hair and eyes are only temporary so DON'T WORRY PEOPLE!!! I will be back to my regular self in due time!!!!!!!
