❪  SYNOPSIS  ❫

St Everfields Private Boarding School.

Home to the teens of the richest in the UK, the elite of society, and a multi-gold-medal winner who's the school's poster-girl for physical excellence.

Odette Moetti is considered royalty at St Everfields; her parents are major benefactors to the school. Regardless of the power she holds, she keeps to herself and focuses on her swimming— part of where her fame comes from, especially now she's been recruited to be on her country's team. Between training, trying to meet her parents expectations on both her abilities and her as a person, it's no wonder she has to find an escape from it all. To have a few private moments to exist for herself, to do something she wanted to do instead of had to.

But then her hour of rollerskating every morning before practice is intruded on by a certain grumpy, basketball player.

If Odette is school royalty, Kaede Hayashi was an aristocrat. This year's basketball captain, he's expected to lead his team to victory past where the previous captain brought them to finals. He's also expected to be scouted by American teams before the end of the year All in all, he's under a lot of pressure.

It doesn't help that his parents always prioritise his tennis-playing older brother in love, support, and guidance. He has his nan, but he still majorly relies on himself— the thought for asking his friends, teammates, or coach, for help and them seeing his shortcomings, surges his anxiety. So he spends most of his moments awake strategising team plays and honing his skills to iron out any mistakes, alone.

But when his and pretty girl's times at using the court overlap, he can't help but expect the worst in her. His past still haunts him and her presence only makes him more aware of it.

   Will their fears create barriers between them that'll only grow as time goes on? Or will they open up and let their feelings grow until they're love for each other?
