"Let's party!!!!" Lily shouted as they lifted their wine glasses. It's her 25th birthday. They were in the middle of a club just a few meters away from their workplace.

"And cheers to Jisoo's promotion." Once again, they clicked their wine glasses.

Jisoo stepped closer to a half drunk Lily. "I have to go home, Lily."

"Ji, the party had just started. C'mon. Don't be a killjoy. At least just for me tonight."

Jisoo shut her eyes out of annoyance. She hated places like this. Any place she would see men lingering around women.

Jisoo, a notorious man hater.

Lily is her closest friend in her workplace. "You still haven't confessed to me why you hate men so much." Lily said in a groggy voice. "But I won't force you to tell." Lily kissed her on the cheeks.

Her eyes darted back on the dance floor. A lot of men and women were swaying their bodies, dancing on the groove. Some were drunk. Others were sober. Most are just enjoying a one night company.

He heard a burst of laughter on another table, attention at theirs. Some of them are looking at their officemates, some look familiar. One of them is looking intently at her. He smiled.

She turned her eyes anywhere, breaking eye contact. "Ji, look at the guy across our table. I think he likes you. He looks familiar though!" A drunk Rose whispered to her. She dismissed the idea by slapping Rose at her arm.

She stood up. She felt uncomfortable with the stares. "Ly, I really had to go." She kissed Ly on the cheeks. "Happy birthday. See you on Monday."

She found her way at the side of the dance floor, the only way out of the front door when an arm pulled her on her waist. An old man around his 60s, looking lustfully at her.

"Hi beautiful. Care to dance?" The old man grinned. Her face was so flustered she was about to slap him when a hand stopped him. The guy from another table.

"She's not free sir. I'm with her." The old man looked at the guy and tapped him at the back, seem like they know rach other. The guy dragged her to a less crowded area of the club.

"You wouldn't want to do a scandal with a congressman." He whispered to her seductively.

She leaned on the wall suddenly when two men came running drunk, and he was pushed on the wall with no choice, making him lean towards her body. They were in a very awkward position, hearing each other's breathing and heartbeat.

He was beaming down at her. For whatever reason, she can't find her feet to step away from him. Their eyes met when she lifted her head. He gave her a seductive smile.

He offered his hand. "Haein. And you are?"

Jisoo met his gaze, never backing down. Good looking. She stared at his hand, hanging in the air. She glared at him, making him chuckle hard. His head leaned closer. "What's your name, gorgeous?" He whispered, still his body pressing into her. His eyes returned to her, looking at her lips.

"Why would I tell you my name?" she snarled back. He laughed amusedly.

"Why," she paused, her hands now holding his collar, fixing his unbuttoned shirt for him. "Are you so used to girls crumbling at your feet to give them their names?" Her eyebrow arched, giving him a smirk.

He grinned broadly, placing both of his arms on the wall, caging her. "Playing hard to get, I see." Both of them staring, unfazed. Sexual tension building between the two of them.

Jisoo pursed her lips. She leaned her head closer to his, her mouth touching his ears. She placed her hand on his chest. "Dream of me," she whispered softly. Haein looked at her, their lips almost touching. "Because that's the only thing that you can get tonight."

Jisoo shoved his body and stormed out of the bar, leaving him alone. Haein massaged his nape out of amusement.

Weeww, that's a first. I didn't bewitch her? He returned to their table.

"Ooowwww," Mingue exclaimed to Haein, obviously observing them afar. "Mr. Playboy was left hanging by a girl. Laughters from their table erupted, teasing him. "Hey boy, your charms are wearing off."

"Of course not." He chuckled. But Mingue was right. It was the first time a girl ran away from him.

"But you'll get excited to know who she is."

Haein shifted his gaze to Insub.

"The new marketing chick. She will be transferred to your office on Monday as the new team leader." Insub winked.

Haein smiled. Miss Runaway in my office? He's never been excited for weekdays to come at least.

See you on Monday marketing chick.
