Chapter 11

The next morning you woke up before everyone did. So you decided to check up on the bunny and bring him some fresh food. Arthur said that we shouldn't feed him too much because he has to know his place, but you didn't care. Everything he said that sounded like an order was ignored by you. He's not a prince to be ordering you around. Well, he is but you're a princess so doesn't change anything.

You sat next to the bunny and tossed him a carrot with your powers. You felt more comfortable using them after telling Merlin. You just started relaxing but got those questions in your head again. You really wanted to know what was going on with Snow. And you wanted to know how to help the guys with their curse. And your father of course. You thought about all the good stuff and looked at the bunny. >>I wonder if your family is looking for you. If you have one of course.<< the bunny just sniffed and continued eating carrots. Then you strolled around the woods for a while. Shooting some branches with your powers out of boredom. When you suddenly heard a noise from somewhere. Not in the forest, but pretty much near it. You didn't bother and kept walking but then you realized that it sounded like a roar. You wanted to know where it came from but you are not a hero and definitely not brainless so you didn't like the idea of exploring some potential danger. Besides it was time when everyone woke up usually so you went back to the house.
When you arrived everyone was already outside and you saw the triplets with some sort of device. >>What's that?<< you looked at it but had zero guesses.
>>A printer!<<
>>What's a printer?<<
>>It will help us make more posters! Look!<< the triplets started rotating the handle and soon enough a lot of posters with your father appeared out of it.
>>Wow, impressing.<< you took a poster in your hand and were shocked at how exact it looked like the drawing.
Merlin noticed how impressed you were and being a little jealous, he shoved Pino aside and started rotating the handle faster than Pino did. And then he smirked at you. You just smirked back knowing exactly what that was. But watching Merlin trying to be better than everyone for you was entertaining so you played dumb. >>Thank you so much Merlin that's amazing of you.<< Snow complimented him. You looked at her over your shoulder and then looked back at Merlin. Who was smirking at her now.
You felt an itch in your chest. You weren't the jealous type but that exact eye he gave her, the same one he gave you. It made you a little mad, you wanted him to only smile like that at you, to feel more proud when YOU compliment him than anyone. But no matter how you tried to hide that face Merlin noticed. And oh boy, he already had hundreds of jokes in his head to embarrass you for that.
>>We only need a way to distribute them fast.<< Kio jumped in, making the air a little less awkward. >>Why?<< Snow asked.
>>The posters are no use if we don't distribute them fast.<<
>>Well how about that brush over there?<< you pointed at some brush that was stuck in a tree. No idea how it got there but could be a way.

Half an hour later, Snow took of with you and Merlin. No way you would let these two go alone. Not jealous or anything. Just making sure they actually do what they have to.
Everyone was talking normally when suddenly the robot started to shake and flew straight into a tree. Next thing you know you are on the floor with Merlin right above you. And with him being human again you quickly noticed that you were alone. >>Hi there.<< he smirked. And you couldn't even answer, hell it was even hard to breathe. Him on top of you, in the middle of nowhere. Alone.
>>Uh....R-red shoes is gone... we should look for her you know...<<
>>You sure you want that? After that glance you gave her when I looked at her I thought you would want her to leave us alone.<<
Okay that's embarrassing, he saw. Well you weren't complaining but Snow is your sister so you had to find her.
>>Yeah but we have to find her...<< you couldn't even pretend to sound confident. You basically FOLDED under him. >>So you admit it?<<
>>Admit what?<<
>>The jealousy.<<
He didn't even notice when he flung into the next bush. You would never admit it to him. Even if someone offered you money...well....maybe you would...but only for money!
>>I would watch my mouth, dingus!<<
You got up and started walking to look for Snow.
>>Oh come on! You're totally into me!<<
>>Oh shut it.<< you looked back at Merlin who walked behind you.
>>That wasn't a no.<<
>>Never said it was.<< you smirked at each other before you turned your head to look forward. That's when you arrived at a lake.
>>Beautiful, isn't it?<<
>>Yeah...totally.<< of only you knew that he didn't even notice the lake. He was looking at you. All the time. Always you.
He came a little closer. >>You know...when I was cursed for the first time. In the beginning. I thought that moving into the mountains and living there would be the best solution. I thought no one would welcome us.<<
>>But aren't you guys hero's? How come you just left?<<
>>We tried to help at first. Trust me we did. But when we're little and green no one takes us seriously. And we're a lot weaker. So there wasn't much we could do. Besides, breaking it would be impossible while looking like that.<<
>>Well...I thought that green Merlin wasn't so full of himself.<< you were teasing of course. You liked Merlin as he was. Yeah sure he was full of himself but he was nice nonetheless. There sure is a reason he was seen as a hero.
>>But what you told me back then when we cuddled really got me to think.<<
>>Did it?<<
You remembered the talk you had with him. About the witch-fairy princess thing and how you compared his situation with that one.
>>I mean...I always thought I was wrong for mistaking a princess for a witch. But I didn't see what exactly was wrong about it.<<
You sat and listened, did he actually get it?
>>But I realized that now. I was wrong for thinking that a witch can't look like a princess. Not for mistaking on for another.<<
You felt proud, for him and for yourself. You were the one to help him get that after all.
>>That's a good thing Merlin, it really is.<<
You turned your face to him. Merlin put his hand on yours. >>And it's a good thing I learned that from you, thank you. Green shoes.<<
You twitched at that name. Right. Merlin still didn't know anything about you. He still thought you're that helpless girl he met back in the kingdom. He opened up to you and now it was your turn. >>Merlin I-<<
He stopped you. >>I know what you want to say. And I feel the same way.<<
Uh oh, well...you did like him but that was NOT what you intended to say. Well how can you say it now? He started to lean in, you felt bad. He didn't fall in love with a witch, the daughter of the well known Queen Regina who destroyed the White Kingdom. He fell in love with the helpless enchantress girl who he found at the castle.Would he still lean in if he knew? But it was too late, he was leaning in, he wanted to kiss you and you wanted to kiss him. You closed your eyes and waited for his lips to be put on yours.

Heyyyyy I am not dead and I did not abandon y'all. I just a very unlucky person 😭
My phone literally died. Like literally. It wouldn't turn on and I got told that it can't be fixed anymore so I didn't have a phone for a while. That's literally my third phone in a YEAR. First I got a phone that was stolen, got another one and it broke so now I'm stuck with this one till Christmas when I get a new one.
Someone gift me luck for Christmas I can't.
