Chapter 18: Is It Hot In Here?

(Hazel's Pov) *A Few Days Later*

After a couple days of me being sick and bedridden...again, my fever soon enough went down and I was feeling much better. When the others came over to hang out the other day, well all had so much fun watching movies that we all ended up actually falling asleep which was pretty funny.

That morning, everyone got up early and headed home to get ready for school and whatnot. Kyoya said he wanted me to stay home a couple more days before going back to school just incase something happens, which I get so I stayed home alone...

Well, not really alone, Kyoya, Takashi and Honey had my maids look after me and make sure I was okay and or needed anything...yea, even when they're gone they still find ways to baby me...but it was fine...just a few more days and I can finally go back to school and be in the host club again...

I can't tell you how much I actually miss school and the host club...shit is so boring when you're home alone doing nothing all day...just like how my life used to be before I followed Takashi and Honey to their club...interesting turn of events really...pretty funny when you think about it really.

Anyways those couple of days have been pretty boring aside Kyoya bringing me back a MOUNTAIN of homework which kept me pretty busy and not too bored so that was good. When Chika came home he'd check on me and make sure I was okay. Same with dad which was very sweet of both of them. They'd ask if I was hungry or thirsty or needed anything, even company...Weird how when I get badly hurt people care more...hmm..

Kyoya of course still didn't want to leave me alone even at night so he offered to stay with me until he didn't worry so much about me anymore...which I highly doubt will happen after all that's happened but oh well, guess we'll just see what happens. I guess I can't complain really so it is what it is.

ANYWAYS, the next day I fluttered my eyes open to the sun shining through my bedroom window. I sighed and groaned feeling my head pound a bit which was going to be normal for a while. I sighed and whined a bit as I rubbed my face and head tiredly. I felt the bed move assuming Kyoya was getting up as well.

I heard the sound of pills being rattled which made me sigh as I took a few deep breaths trying to calm the immense pain in my head, "Hazel" Kyoya said, I weakly sat up only having my head pound worse. I whimpered which made Kyoya rub my head gently and hand me 3 pills. I popped the pills in which Kyoya handed me water so I could get them down easier.

I thanked him and looked at the time seeing it was a little after 7am, "Come on. We gotta get ready for school" He said, I nodded as I waited a few moments for the pain meds to kick in before hopping out of bed and stretching again. My body feels a lot better too after being bed-ridden for almost a month and a half so it'll be nice to get up and move around again...can't tell you how BORING everything was not being able to do ANYTHING aside homework...ugh, I'm so glad all of that is over.

I rubbed my head tiredly as I walked over to my dresser and wore simple tan shorts with a cute white cropped turtleneck. I brushed my hair, put it in a messy bun and looked in the mirror seeing I looked a lot better since the past few weeks. The bruising and cuts on my face have healed and barely scarred, I lifted my shirt seeing the bruising there has healed as well and left a little scarring but nothing too major.

I took a deep breath and sighed a bit. I felt Kyoya snake his arms around my waist and rest his head ontop of mine "you okay?" he asked, I smiled softly and nodded "Just glad to be going back to school and the club" I said, Kyoya smiled softly and kissed my cheek "I'm glad too" he said, "thank you for everything Kyoya" I said, he smiled and moved my turtleneck down so he could kiss my neck a little which sent shivers down my spine "You're welcome dear.
