Chapter 17: Hazel Has A Fever

(Hazel's Pov)

My eyes shot open to my head pounding against my skull. I groaned and felt my stomach churn nauseously. I breathed heavily and sighed as I felt such an uneasy feeling in my stomach. I didn't feel good. This wasn't good. What was going on? I whimpered as I weakly hopped out of bed only having my knees give out on me which made me crash onto the ground.

I shouted in pain which seemed to have woken up Kyoya "Hazel?" he asked tiredly, I whimpered "F-floor" I said trying not to vomit on the floor. Kyoya looked down to see me on the floor holding my stomach in pain. His eyes widen as he hopped out of bed and helped me up "What is it? Are you okay?" he asked, I shook my head and quickly ran out of his arms and ran to the bathroom as quickly as I could not caring about how painful the feeling in my head was but I seriously DID NOT want to vomit on my floor and make a complete fool out of myself.

Once I made it to the bathroom, I quickly fell to my knees and loomed over the toilet and spilled my guts of whatever the hell was in it which nothing was aside the food I had yesterday...My stomach gurgled and shifted as the vomit and bile continued to spew out of my mouth and into the toilet. I whined and coughed feeling a burning sensation in the back of my throat.

I whimpered and whined in pain feeling all sweaty and disgusting. I heard multiple footsteps which made me look to see Kyoya, Honey and Takashi all standing there "Oh no is Hazel-Chan sick?" Honey asked holding Usa-Chan close to him while rubbing his eye tiredly, "Yea" Takashi said who yawned seeing as I somehow woke all of them up.

I whimpered as Kyoya walked up to me and brushed my hair back. I panted breathlessly and sighed not feeling the need to vomit anymore. I flushed the toilet and wiped my mouth as my body trembled and glistened with sweat "Are you alright?" Kyoya asked, I sniffled and nodded as he helped me up and walked me to the sink where I washed out my mouth and brushed my teeth of that god awful vomit taste and feeling in my mouth "What happened?" Takashi asked,

Kyoya felt my forehead which made me sigh a bit loving the feeling of his cold hands on my hot, sweaty forehead "A fever It feels like. It's probably a common infection given with any head injury. She should be fine but I'll call over one of my families nurses just incase" Kyoya said trying not to make the others worried but I can sense he was worried "Hazel-Chan will cake make you feel better?" Honey asked,

I giggled weakly "H-Honey I-I don't think cake is the best solution given that I just threw it all up the next day" I said, he frowned "Oh. Right" he pouted, I smiled weakly and kissed his head as Kyoya walked me back to bed. He lied me down as we all remained in my bed until one of Kyoya's nurses arrived.

When she did, Honey and Takashi went to get me some soup and tea to help with my stomach. Kyoya led the nurse to my room as they both walked in "Ah Miss Haninozuka. It's nice to meet you. I hear you're not feeling well?" She asked, I nodded "Alright let's take a look shall we?" She stated as she took some basic vitals and checked my head with a handheld x-ray scanner. (Yes, they exist in my story. They're rich I'm sure it's a thing. Shup up)

Once she finished, she sighed a bit "alright, well you do have a fever of 101.4, and your blood pressure is a little low but given that you threw up prior might be the reason why. Your skull looks fine, the stitching looks a little inflamed which can be brought down by cold suppression and medication. Normally once a patient suffers a blow to the head, recovers and goes home the next day, sometimes bacteria and infections can still spread and make you sick so it's nothing serious. I would just to be safe take a shower, wash your clothes, bedsheets and pillowcases to prevent any more bacteria latch onto you. Other than that, get lots of rest, drink plenty of water, eat something small, ice your head and take your medication and you should be fine in a few days" She said, I nodded "Thank you" I said and sniffled as my nose felt runny.
