'Get a grip, Ven,' a voice hissed into Ven's mental ear, 'This is only your second date. Maybe you can unclench your fists? You look like you're ready to attack anyone that looks at you funny.'

'Maybe I will.' he hissed right back.

'Not in front of the kid, you're not.'

Kid?

Ven flinched as a sudden headache came over him. A headache was exactly the last thing he wanted at the moment. But what brought it on? He saw an image flash of a kid with spiky brown hair, and someone that looked incredibly similar but with black hair, but it was gone as soon as it came. It was the bunny kids that ultimately knocked him out of his thoughts- preventing him from figuring out just who those two figures in his head were.

"Sabreenie's coming! Sabreenie's coming!" the bunny kids cheered. Some even jumped on top of him just to hop right back off. "Sabreenie's commmminnnnng!"

"Thanks." Ven snorted as he shooed them away. Well, it was do or die time, and he felt more ready to die now than he did on the first date.

As Sabrina entered the movie theater (Tik-Tok dutifully holding the door for her), the first thing Ven noticed were the braids in her hair. There was the main braid, a large one that went across her head like a crown. Smaller braids were then used to hold a moderate sized bun toward the base of her lower hairline. It must have taken her hours to make sure every strand of hair was equally spaced. A smile etched itself onto Ven's face without him being aware of it at first.

"Well look at you," Sabrina said once she was close enough, "You're on time for once."

Ven let out a nervous laugh.

"Gummi Ships are pretty useful." he admitted. "It's a lot faster than the glider I was using before."

"Too bad they run on smiles." Sabrina then sighed. "Guess I'm not getting on one anytime soon."

"Sounds like a challenge."

"It just might be."

"There are a lot of mo-vies to watch to-day." Tik-Tok suddenly spoke up. "I sug-gest Bon-go."

"We'll keep that in mind, Tik-Tok." Sabrina snorted as she gave the mechanical man a small pat. "Now go. You have other things to do today than be a third wheel."

"In-deed." he agreed. To Ventus he said, "I leave Dor-ro-thy in your care, Ven-tus. Take good care of her, plea-se."

"Thank you Tik-Tok, and I will." Ven nodded, although he was desperately wishing for the mechanical man to scram as well.

The duo waited until Tik-Tok had closed the theater door behind him before even daring to get close. Even then, their attention was immediately drawn to the current showings.

"Oh wow." Ven soon marveled. "He wasn't kidding. There is a lot playing today. What kind of show do you think the Three Caballeros is?"

Sabrina let out a small hum of thought. "How about," she suggested, "We not watch a movie and instead ditch this place altogether?"

Ven blinked, then looked over at her in wonder.

"We can do that?"

"As long as we don't get caught." she smirked. "Come on."

Giving her a cautious look, Ven found himself following her anyway.

Not once did Ventus ever wonder how long Sabrina had been a part of Wasteland. He simply went along for the ride as she stealthed them from the theater's back entrance to the other end of Mean Street where the train station lied. Each time they tried to round a corner, but someone was coming in the opposite direction, she'd use a single hand to slam him into the wall so they couldn't be found. At one point he had to legitimately question if she was metaphorically knocking the wind out of him, or literally.
