Is it possible to feel like you're drowning even when your head's above water.?
To be above water and still feel like you're sinking,
To feel your lungs slowly fill with water,
Continuously fighting to survive,
Even though you grow weary.
Sometimes I think it'll be easier to just sink,
Let the water into my lungs and let it consume me,
Let it swallow me whole, every drop of me.
I've been fighting to survive for years now
And every time I feel like I've finally got my head above the waves,
Something keeps pulling me down.
