Saglit na naputol yung tingin ni Jax sa kin at tiningnan well more liked glared really at the hand offered by Rence na hindi niya pa rin tinatanggap at binalik ulit yung tingin sa kin.

I didn't look at him back and instead gave a pleading look to Xy and thankfully she understood and she let out a chuckle and siya na ang tumanggap ng kamay ni Rence.

"Yup, this stewing guy here is Jax. Wag mo nalang pansinin muna, walang breakfast pa yan eh kaya medyo rude pa ngayon" sabi ni Xy and Jax glared at her but she just raised a brow at him and smirked.

"Nice meeting you Lawrence, I'm Xyriel but you can just call me Xy. Best friend ko din si Ash or in your case 'Kay'" then she proceeded to look back at me and Rence with a teasing smile.

Tumawa naman si Rence tapos bigla akong inakbayan and I didn't need to see the heightened glare that Jax was throwing at us because I felt it.

"Yea, ang haba kase masyado nung Karlee eh kaya Kay na lang" sagot niya sabay tawa at kamot sa likod ng ulo na parang nahihiya pa. I rolled my eyes at this.

"Sabi ko kase na you could call me Ash since yun naman talaga tawag ng iba saken, ikaw yung nagpumilit ng Karlee dyan" lintanya ko.

"Eh bakit siya, tinatawag ka niyang Lee if you really go by Ash naman pala?" he asked with a raised eyebrow sabay nguso towards Jax na wala pang imik since kanina.

I didn't know what to say to that and thankfully I was saved from answering when Xy cackled like a maniac thoroughly enjoying my predicament.

"Well I would love to know you more Lawrence or can I call you Rence? Or is that an exclusive right you've given to Ash here" sabi pa ni Xy.

Napapikit na lang ako sa sinabi niya. Kaibigan ko ba talaga toh? Is she seriously goading Jax to get even more tense?

"Ano Kaye? Papatawag din ba akong Rence sa iba?" he asked me na nagpataas ng kilay ko at mas nagpahalakhak kay Xy.

Aba, anong kinalaman ko sa anong pangalan siya tatawagin ng iba then I saw the small smirk he was sporting.

Then it dawned on me Loko din pala tung si Rence eh sinabayan pa trip ni Xy. I shook my head and shrugged na nagpatawa naman sa kanya and kay Xy.

Then their laughter got cut off by someone clearing their throat, nabaling uli yung pansin namin kay Jax

I still couldn't stand his stare so I dropped it quickly and looked at the foor instead. Akmang magsasalita siya ng biglang may nagring na phone.

Xy said a quick sorry and answered her phone then after a while bumaling siya sa amin sabay hablot bigla kay Lawrence na siyang kinagulat naman ng isa.

Ang liit kay ani Xy compared kay Rence but I'm not surprised as I said Xy is smll but she's very capable.

"Rence, I need your help for something. Iwan na muna natin yang dalawang toh. See you guys later in class" di na nakapalya si Rence kase dali-dali din siyang hinatak ni Xy paalis.

I chuckled, kahit kalian talaga baliw talaga si Xyriel. I smiled to myself.

"Lee", napabuntong hininga ulit ako ng malalim and tumayo. I looked at him and his face is still blank but I still gave him a small smile and I saw some tension leave his body.

He was about to say something when I stopped him as I saw that there are more students in the hallway now than before and looked at my watch. 7:15 am, nakaramdam din ako ng gutom so tiningnan ko ulit si Jax. His face was just showing him patiently waiting for me to say something,
